Coralife BioCube LED Aquarium Fish Tank Replacement Lid Canopy, 29/32 Gallon

Its a good replacement , but not made as strong as the original.

This is a very nice lid for my Cube.. Takes a little time to figure out how to program lights. They work great and give you beautiful lighting. You can program it for the way the Sun would light the waters throughout the day.. Very nice product.

The lid works and serves the purpose. We knew when purchasing the lid that it would fit on the Oceanic 29 gallon Biocube aquarium, but the lid does not attach to hinge. When we need to access the inside of the aquarium, we need to lift and remove the lid and set it on the floor. However, the set-up is temporary to house a clownfish and blue hippo until our large built-in plumbing is finished, so we are content with the situation. Nonetheless, it is slightly annoying, but the lid itself is great. We like the programable light feature as our original biocube lid did not have this feature.

If you had the old fluorescent bulbs, this is so much better. One power cord, and the LED light is so much clearer. It will bring out the true colors of your fish. It has 3 light settings that replicate natural lighting. This feature is nice but wish it had more coloring in the lighting.

This Biocube canopy is so much better than my original canopy. Thrilled that I bought it.

Wanted to get into led so that I won't have to worry about the ballast problem from my old Oceanic bio cube 14" flourcent bulbs . Though it does not fit perfectly, it'll hold up good. Lights are awesome but the great downside is that it brings whole amount of algae due to the light's. They seem to be very powerful for a 14g freshwater tank. My aquariumist that it can be used for salt water. Had to reduce the light hours down to 3hrs with just day light which leaves me with no option to use other light features that comes up with this hood.

I’ve had a coralife biocube 29 for around 3ish years, the tube lighting that was in the hood was horrible, it put off a ton of heat and didn’t really make the tank look that great at all (well I thought it looked good). I’ve had this led replacement hood on for about 10 minutes and holy cow what an upgrade! The only downside is that there is a small gap between the hood and the tank which for me isn’t that big of a deal, you can see by the photos the gap. Very easy to program, went to a forum to find the best lighting schedule and boom done! I also love this hood because it has one small wire that plugs into the power source, the older model had two chunky plug ins and the moon lighting. All in all great value!

I like the switch from power compact bulbs to led due to electricity saving but the timer and auto settings I LOVE. So much better that the power strip timer. You will love this hood

arrived on schedule, replaced an old canopy, tube lights were no longer available at reasonable cost.

Replaced older lid that the bulbs were fluorescent.. replacement bulbs were costly and hard to replace
