Turtle Beach - Stealth 420X+ Fully Wireless Gaming Headset - Superhuman Hearing - Xbox One (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I’ve had my stealth 420X+ for about over a year and a half maybe two but I’ve got to say this headset will last you if you get a good pair. I’ve only had to get one pair but I’ve seen other reviews of how they break or otherwise don’t work anymore after a week to a year. Since mine has lasted so long I can’t say much bad things about it. Also keep in mind that this is pretty much my first review on anything.Features:Two volume wheels one for party chat and game volume. A 3.5 mm jack on the right side for plugging into a phone, you can play music through this (which I do do) and take phone calls. Super Human Hearing. EQ presets there are 4 being bass boost, bass and treble boost, vocal, and natural sound. A auto shutdown feature after 5 mins of not hearing anything, the headset will automatically turn off.Pros:-Very durable-Good sound-Great for music (if you’re an audiophile)-Can sometimes connect to windows 10 PCs (via usb)-Good quality mic-Comfortable volume controls (including the mic mute button and EQ presets button)-Comfortable for long play sessions-WirelessCons:-Price-Occasional connectivity issues-Bright LEDsI have sat on my headset more than a few times and it’s held up no cracks or bending. I’ve connected this headset to a PC and listened to music on it although the EQ buttons don’t work the music still sounds great, I’ve compared it to the Kraken Razer headset and the HyperX Cloud one and this head still sounded better than both. Mic is pretty decent. When I want to hear my friends in party chat I just turn down the game volume wheel or turn up the party chat wheel. When I got my headset it was around $150 but I think that’s because the headset was still in production but since it’s now discontinued the price inflated, and I still think these are still worth the $150 price and not the $275 price they are still good but you should definitely wait till they’re on sale. I have had occasions where I turn on my headset then my console then when I join a party my friends say that my mic is making a noise but I just unplug the usb and turn the headset off then on and it works perfectly again. I had my console flat and in front of me so the led on the usb would be flashing and it was kind of bothering so I just put black electrical tape over it and it didn’t bother me I did the same for the lights on the headset. Now the Super Human Hearing is pretty much a sham not to say it doesn’t work it just isn’t conventional it pretty much turns up the decibels and makes everything sound like garbage. Well I hope this helps I probably forgot something so oh well.

I have owned multiple gaming headphones in my life. Overall, these are the lightest ones I have ever had! Now don't let that discourage you, because they still sound amazing and they feel sturdy. The "Super Human Hearing" mode is actually game changing in FPS(just don't forget to turn it off when watching a movie or listening to music). The SHH mode basically just increases the high ends A LOT as well as getting rid of bass so you can hear almost everything that is going on in the map. The 2 volume controls make it really easy for me to either raise or lower chat to match the sound level of the game. Sometimes I even just turn it down all of the way to drown out all of the plebs that are screaming in my ear as I'm trying to clutch the win.When I listen to music with these headphones, with SHH mode off, the bass is really clear and strong! You could feel power when you just touch the headphones. However, it's not overpowering. You still can hear everything in the song, not just bass.I can't really test out the range on these but what I can tell you is that it worked throughout my entire 2 bedroom apartment. I am able to walk around my entire apartment listening to music without any interference(not even from my router that is right next to Xbox!).If you are a serious gamer and want to get better or even if you just like listening to your Xbox without waking up anyone, this is the headset for you!

It's been awesome having a fully-wireless headset again! No more accidentally yanking controllers to the ground when a cord gets snagged on something.Liked:• audio quality is good• mic quality is good• long lasting battery• can charge and play at the same time• comfortable.• freedom from the controller. (I really like being able to put the controller down and grab a snack while still staying in touch with everyone in the chat)Neutral:• Requires 1 USB port but basically needs 2, one for the wireless dongle and another for charging off of (Xbox One S only has 3 USB ports so dedicating 2 to the headset means I cannot have my external hard drive and Kinect plugged in as well)• When you mute the mic it has a synthesized female voice that says "Mic on" and "Mic off" which can be annoying since it cuts out all other audio when saying that so often times I'll miss a word or two of what someone is saying because I wanted to mute my mic.• Doesn't work on a MacDon't Like:• Volume control doesn't have a low enough range for my preferences, everything is always a little louder than I would like it to be.

This is the single best headset I have ever used. The sound quality is amazing, and the superhuman hearing is no joke. Wireless works great, though I have yet to test the wired connection (for devices other than Xbox One). It is also fairly comfortable, and at the very least can be worn for long periods of time without irritation. The mic is very clear, and it's nice to hear myself inside the headset.I have a few nitpicks, however. The mic mute button is placed on the front of the right earpiece, making it prone to accidental presses. Also, the charging cord is rather short, meaning the headset must remain close to the console. This complicates your ability to keep the console itself in tighter spaces. Lastly, the left earpiece does cut out in rare instances, but very briefly.

As i have gotten through a lot of headsets, mostly the wires breaking, and loving the Turtle Beach products. i thought ill spend a bit more than i would on any headsets, and i bought these in Jan 2017 and its now near the end of July, i havent had any issues yet. i will say that i find that i can easily break them with little force, i havent tested that but i wouldnt be throwing it around or be careless with them (i mean they are £100 or more i mean i would be carefull!) the sound its great, the superhuman hearing is amazing for games, i have had an advantage against friends in some cases, as i heard their footsteps much clearer than others in my team so i could easily get them and such. being wireless makes my controllers batteries last soooo much longer which is good as well. would recommendupdate its now end of September 2018, still no issues, i do find that when i join a party my headset will say its disconnected, i just leave the party unplug the usb that connects to the headset, and put it back in and it works. its rare that this happens. i will defiantly replace with the same model as the new seems to have bad reviews.

Oh man!! The best headset ever owned!!! The sound of any game is in your head!! Bass boost is awesome and super human hearing mode is the best for any shooting type game. Chatting is awesome as it doesn't interfere with the sound what so ever. Worth every penny and makes any game more enjoyable!!! Very easy to install as all you have to do is plug in the wireless adapter to my xbox one and DONE!!!! It is very comfortable even wearing glasses as well. Comfortable on the ears too as they fit easily over them. Best part is you can turn the volume off your TV and be completely quiet especially when you got a little one who is sleeping!! You can even talk in a low voice into the microphone and your chat buddies can hear you loud and clear. Just don't break a fart as it picks up the noise too. Lol. Just kidding!! But honestly don't hesitate to buy it as its everything it does as it says it does!!! 5 stars all the way. The battery last roughly 15 hours but doesn't take a day to charge!!! The charging cable is exactly the same as the one to charge your wireless controller if you got the charge pack for the xbox one controller. So now you have a spare as well. Roller Buttons to control volume for the game as well as a roller button to control the chat volume is quite convenient. There is a mute button for your mic and a button to change the equalizer settings of the sound to suit your best needs. All buttons are on the right side of the headset as an indication that's how you put it on as well as there is no other way to tell which is the right way of putting it on and you can put the mic on the right or left side too. Per chi volesse essere in piena libertà da joypad e fili vari...L audio è molto nitido per chi conosce il marchio non ho nulla da aggiungere.Prima avevo le xo four e direi che queste le battono alla grande in tutto. Per chi non volesse spendere 300 euro per il top di gamma queste sono perfette.

Wurde mir von einem freund empfohlen.Ich war zu erst skeptisch weil ich schon ein turtle beach hatte und das headset ständig sound aussetzter hatte und im menü immer rauschte .Ich hab es mir dann bestellt und war beim aufmachen sehr begeistert. Das installieren des headset's war sehr einfach und Problem los.Auch wenn es nur aus Plastik besteht ist es extrem hochwertig.Die Passform ist extrem gut und auch nach 5h tragen , mit Ohrringe ist es bequem.Sound Qualitat ist extrem gut, besonders bei Musik. Die voreinstellungen sind wirklich gut und die tasten am Heaset selber sind sehr leicht zu bedienen.Der aller größte + punkt ist das es wireless ist und somit kein lästiger adapter oder Kabel im weg ist.Ich bin begeistert und hoffe das headset hat im laufe des zockens keine fehler:)
