Clear and easy to understand
Marshall Masters new book, Crossing the Cusp is part scary prediction and part raise your awareness and get ready. Masters has done a fine job of researching his subject by way of the Kolbrin Bible, and for those who don't have this book, it's the Celtic version of the Hebrew Bible. It's the same stories you'll find in the King James Bible, but from the Egyptians' point of view. Masters is the publisher of this book, which I've read, and it is a fascinating work.Crossing the Cusp uses a crop circle for both for it's cover and to interpret the future flyby of our sun's dark twin, called Nemisis. Masters explains through drawings, what exactly the crop circle means, but I was a bit lost on some of the symbols. What I can sees in an obvious solar system with objects coming from outside it, possibly to intersect with it.Considering today's strange weather patterns and horrific natural disasters, which seem to be coming at us harder, and faster than in all of recorded history, maybe Masters has a point with his theory. All the talk about global warming feels like just another way for those in control to make us feel guilty about driving our big SUVs and living our modern and convenient lives. Those who aren't taken in by the political drivel, know that we could have SUVs that get a hundred miles to the gallon if those in power wanted to have it be so. But quilting the unsuspecting public is so much more fun apparently, so we're made to feel that if the sky is falling and than it has to be our fault. As Masters points out in his book, this twin sun's flyby is cyclical and has happened many times in the past. In fact, Moses seemed to have known about it ahead of time, and that's how he browbeat the Egyptians into letting the Hebrews leave. Masters also points out that a previous flyby of the twin is what took out Atlantis which is also the Noah story. This dark twin has planets revolving around it, one of them being Planet X or Nibiru as told in the 12 Planet series by Zacharia Stitchin.I really enjoyed Masters pointing out the the definition of meek has been changed since the twelfth century, going from the meaning of courteous, gentle, and kind, to today's definition of compliant, cowed submissiveness, docile, spineless, spiritless, and tame. It's as if someone couldn't change the passage in the Bible that says that the meek shall inherit the Earth, so they changed the meaning of meek instead. Now to be called meek is an insult instead of a compliment.Masters said he'd had a spiritual awakening by way of a vision quest and shares with us the 12 readings he received. These 12 readings are worth the price of the book. There's so much information in them that it's hard to put it in just a few sentences, so you'll just have to read them for yourself. The last part of the book is about how to get ready for the breakdown of civilization in practical way. From getting together with like-minded people, to what kind of gun and hammer to buy, or to how to set up a perimeter.Whether you buy into Master's theory or not, change is in the air, reflected in the craziness that people are acting upon, to the strange weather, and birds dropping out of the air. And as Winston Churchill once said: If you want to see the future, look far into the past.

Road Map to Survival
This non-fiction book is a "Cliff Notes" concatination of the future 2012 - 2013 events. It helped me realize that financial and survival decisions have to be made, to be prepared ahead of that time. No doubt there are those who already know how it's going to unfold, crashing the dollar right at the time these events start. There won't be enough food, silver, gold or cash to meet everyone's last-minute hoarding/survival reactions. If you are skeptical, you can risk waiting to corroborate the content as late as a pre-coursor Mid-October event. By then, you may only be able to gather left-overs, as the realizations becomes reality at breakneck speed, and competition for resources take away your choices and peace of mind. In the meantime, checkout forecasts by Cliff High and Ed Dames, in addition to Marshall Masters, and start making some decisions you are willing to live with.

Out of Date
By the time I bought this book in late 2013, December 2012 had already passed, and much of what Masterssays herein did not seem to apply...but it was interesting as an analysis of cropcircles -- particularly the oneshown on the cover. As some of us know, the magnetic pole shift IS under way and sliding down into Siberiaby now... and with the melting of the polar icecaps, and weakening of the geomagnetic field around Earth,we may be headed for another ice age. It has a certain historical interest as far as predictive cropcircles go...

and was disappointed in the lack of clear time frame from this ...
No explanation about the minestrone. I was hoping for an in depth understanding on the level of Graham Hancock or Dave Wilcock, and was disappointed in the lack of clear time frame from this very important crop circle.

Thought provoking .....
Interesting read. Assumes you believe in both the benevolent and malevolent ET's. The author makes it clear that this path of information came to him by chance rather than by pursuit. The book tries to combine both the worlds of the physical as well as the spiritual aspect of a calamity such as the approach and passing of Nibiru. Mr. Masters lays out the program as he and his research team have desciphered the crop circles. I read this cover to cover, went back and bookmarked that which I felt was interesting enough for a review. A bit disjointed as a read, but the author is a researcher as vs. a true writer for entertainment. I would recommend it also in that it helps in pulling together seculative pieces of nonconforming information of 'what is out there' , or not.

A real eye opener
This book has a lot of good info for those willing to accept the fact that humanity as a whole is going to be sorely tested by the events surrounding Planet X and the Cayce prophesied pole shift. And it's going to happen soon-if you want to be ready to survive it get this book and heed its warning. Get ready-NOW! For you Christians out there, everything Planet X and the pole shift throws at us is described in Revelations, and in this book. Even the name 'Destroyer' is in Revelations-Abaddon or Apollyon means Destroyer in english. Check it out.

We create our own Reality
There is no arguing that the author has a gift for words. He sounds convincing and almost appealing. I was drawn to purchase this book due to my own interest in crop circles. Most importantly I was interested in his solution to a perceived problem, a dwarf sun about to enter out solar system, which he speaks of using a vortex to minimize effects of such an event. And knowing something about vortexes this piqued my curiosity. The flaws in this book begin with the early chapter relating to the Hopi Indians. They did not survive as he assumes merely on their practical skills. Hopi lore is full of stories where they were saved by the ant people, that is they taken up in large space ships until the smoke cleared between the various cataclysms that ended each of the previous three world orders. It is true that the Hopi these do believe that we are going to be entering into a 5th world and that there will be a period of Great Change. After putting the fear of God into the reader about the impending cataclysm which he and perhaps rightly knows is a natural process he doesn't offer hope or solutions that the book title suggests. Instead he basically says "Johnny get your gun and bigger the better" and remember "to shoot at the head of the heart" a direct quote. This kind of survivalist mentality seems to be in absolute opposition to his theories of spiritual evolution and not allowing fear to rule ones decision-making process. If I did not take some of the information referred to in this book seriously, I would be amused instead of befuddled. When he speaks about our spiritual capacity to be able to use our own thoughts and energies to overt disaster, it is presented in a very convoluted and for me totally confusing matter about Hawaii and Japan. Vortexs are all over this planet.I believe that the author is using Edger Casey's Prediction as hook to grab the reader's attention and hopefully pocketbook. What is interesting is that not only Casey's predictions but also the predictions of Nostradamus regarding geological changes have been consistently inaccurate particularly in relationship to time. And as far as I know the date of 2013 was never part of the Casey prediction. If you spend any time studying crop circles it becomes very evident that the makers are not sloppy and do not make "mistakes". With this in mind it is very clear that Marshall has taken the liberty as some authors do to present their own personal views as history. They cherry pick facts or distort them in order to support their thesis that in this case centers around the date of the end of the Mayan calendar. In fact if you go onto the website Crop Circle Connector you will clearly see the date stamp December 21, 2012 is not evidently clear. (To do so you will have to join as a member in order to access the archives.) The so-called anomaly of the position of Pluto actually places the date stamp of the planets positions they are shown formation to be the year 2036. Without Pluto it would be 2012. But Pluto is there! Ergo the entire rationale is book is undermined glossy cover and all.I was initially surprised to find that a book of this nature had so much personal referencing about the author's life. But this is intimated by the name of Marshall's own publishing company, "Your Own World". This is a book about the author's world and his future world that is barely habitable. The big lesson after reading this book is quite simple. We create our own Reality, absolutely.

Informative ! Scary?
I liked the way the author sets out the facts and views in a way easy to understand.December 21, 2012 has passed and nothing bad happened; but the Mayas did notsay the world was going to end on that date or any other in the near future. But, Mother Earth is upset with us; and there may well be more disasters to comein the future. In 2013 or 2014 - I hope not! Right or wrong, this book is a greatread.
