Perfect
Mouse works wonderfully and has improved my gaming experience. It doesn't have any drift or latency and is easy to toggle between dpi. It's comfortable to use, a bit of an average size and fits my small hands. I find the buttons are perfectly placed, I'm able to set it up for MMO's, Shooters, cozy and everything in between. Wonderful mouse for the money.

Excellent mouse.
I replaced an older Steelseries mouse with this little guy.Its awesome so far. Last one held up for 8+ years of hard gaming.

Great mouse for gaming
Clicky and responsive. With the SteelSeries Engine it is very customizable from which buttons do what to the lights and colors. I am pleased with the quality of the mouse.

Absolutely recommend
Works great with my current build, awesome quality and feels really nice in the hand, does not have wireless connectivity or Bluetooth unfortunately, but the cable is more than long enough and provides good room for mouse movements

Great FPS gaming mouse with a one caveat
Watched a bunch of reviews. It was a toss up between this and the Logitech 502 series. I really like my previous SteelSeries 310 mouse but I wanted just a few more buttons on the mouse so I gave SteelSeries another shot.Quality wise i have no complaints. Most of the negative reviews remark on the three extra added buttons being hard to use. While i agree the forward thumb button requires me to move my thumb forward a few millimeters, its not impossible or uncomfortable to use. The up and down thumb bumper is a great addition tho. The downward motion is very intuitive. The up motion is a little less but still completely functional.I use it to play FPS games mainly. Stuff like Tarkov, Squad and a few MMO type games and the three extra buttons are exactly what i was looking for.I noticed one thing that is odd to me. In game my aim is fine. Firing isnt affected at all but outside of games doing stuff for example navigating the UI or even using windows itself, its not uncommon that i click on something but the moment of my left clicking causes the mouse to move and drags the cursor off the button/tab/item which in many instances negates the click in the first place. Doing things like closing windows or clicking a menu item in a games UI doesn't work because the click is canceled by my cursor dragging off the button before releasing. Again its very odd because it doesn't seem to affect me in game and i do believe the mouse is activating but just dragging the mouse before releasing causes it to cancel out. Its less of an issue as i get use to using the mouse but something i definitely noticed. All in all i like the mouse and will be keeping it and continuing to suppose Steel Series as i feel like my original favorite peripheral company Logitech definitely feels like they have fallen off in quality and user experience while at the same time become more expensive.

Requires running software for lighting settings... but wait, it's weird and infuriating.
I am so torn with this mouse. I'm still looking for a replacement, and I'm not sure I'm going to keep this one. Using its bulky software which does WAY more than just setting up your mouse and requires an account, you can set up the RGB color, the selectable dpi steps, and what the extra buttons will do (I use my extra buttons to map to keyboard numpad numbers which will be recognizable in every game).I set my "active" RGB to a solid teal color, no effects or blinking. There is a "reactive" color too that will cause a little effect on the RGB when you click any button, a little running down the side of the color chosen. I choose black. All my settings are saved and in place, I turn off the app and... my mouse switches to the default Active color RGB of a rotating rainbow. The active RGB doesn't save. The custom button mapping, the dpi stepping settings, they save fine. The "reactive" COLOR SETTINGS!!! they save too. I click and see the little black color trickle down the rgb strip. So, just about everything I desire will save except the Solid Teal for the entire mouse. It's absolutely infuriating.Everything about this mouse if good. The larger size, the thumb button options, the mouse wheel, the design. The feel takes a little getting used to, it's like a rough extremely and I mean extremely fine grit sandpaper. I'm used to smooth and rubberized mice, but this has none of that. I've grown to accept it though and it's good.However... I'm still looking for other options PURELY because of the inability to keep my very simple solid RGB setting unless I keep the application running. Sorry, but I don't do applications for mice, and for the price of this, I'm not going to stand for it clashing my entire theme of my setup. I have no idea what SteelSeries was thinking. they obviously can store settings without the app, and can do it selectively. Apparently custom mouse buttons wont save if they are not of keyboard or mouse type (I used keyboard numpad), but why not at least keep a solid color in all regions of the mouse? That seems way more simple than keeping the reactive mouse color. URGH! This annoys me to no end and it's going back.

Bad software. Scrollwheel sensor performs poorly over time.
Its fine. After a while (perhaps a year) the scrolling had noticeable bounceback. Probably clogged with dust or something but I don't want to take it apart to figure it out. The software for it is awful - I just want to control the mouse sensitivity and the lights and its got all this bloated other stuff. Wouldn't buy again.
