It's loud enough to be heard easily and is pretty easy to wire up
I use this bell as a doorbell in my garage. It's loud enough to be heard easily and is pretty easy to wire up.GOOD: Looks nice. Decent volume for a little bell.BAD: No instructions on how to connect it or what voltages it accepted. The clapper itself is really fragile. if you accidentally bend it a little while you're installing it (like I did,) the bell won't ring, buzz, or do anything until you get it bent back into *exactly* the right spot.Overall it is a good product and seems like it will hold up fine.

Loud and proud.
Easy to install. The ring is remenicient of school days. As a added benefit it sets off my daughters yorkies. Great fun.

Worked okay for two months
This bell worked okay for two months. I drove it with 5.3VDC. The bell is very cheaply made and after two months, one of the electrical contacts broke. It appears that the insulating material that the contacts are mounted on contains paper or wood and warped in the summer humidity.

Worked for one day
Worked great for one day and then just stopped. I will not be buying anymore of these similar items from Amazon.

Rings fast like an alarm clock
Rings fast like a school bell or alarm clock. Was hoping for slow strike like a train crossing. Works fine though.

satisfied customer, apparently
I didn't buy this for myself; we had an elderly customer at the store, looking for one of these to replace an old and well worn one. Our store didn't sell these, but I went ahead and ordered one for him, no charge, with the understanding that he could return it if he weren't satisfied. Apparently he was/is happy with this item, as I haven't heard back from him yet.

Good product
We use this bell at church. It’s loud enough but but not overwhelmingly loud.

The only one like it
The buzzer will fit your application if you have one already. It will be just as dependable as the one you had. I wouldn't buy one for the first time. It is cheap pressed metal - that cheap metal that fromChina. It has very small and delicate windings and will last if it is bolted onto your wall out of reach. If you open it up, you will realize it costs about $0.50 in parts to build. This is a typical cheap Chinese junk. But it is the only one like it in a shiny case.
