The media could not be loaded. Really love the fit and versatility of this 24 L pack. The pack is very well-made and the shoulder pads are very comfortable. There’s plenty of room for everything you want to take along with you on your hike or trip. You can tell they really put a lot of thought into the design of this pack and for the price I just don’t see how you can bea this choice. It’s the perfect size for a day backpack trip, or a plane ride. Very happy with this purchase

Both the interior and exterior designs I’m very intuitive and useful. I looked at dozens of similar sized backpacks.This is my second 511 pack after seven years of daily use and dozens of flights one small pocket zipper ripped. At the repair shop now, just couldn’t wait. The new pack will be my EDC (every day carry) and the old pack will be my new range bag.

I like this bag it's the right size for what i need it for i.e. a edc commuter use has enough compartments and because of the design i can easily add components/parts when i need to. It appears to be made with quality materials..I like the shoulder straps quick release feature which should come in handy if the bag needs to come off your back quickly in an unconventional manner. One drawback I see though is that the chest harness/strap should be adjustable vertically along the shoulder straps that they can still maintain functionality if the bag is worn low like at the waist..the bag has to be at your neck for them to be used has intended..I have read comments about the hard plastic in the hydration compartment..but the plastic can easily be removed.. overall it's a great small backpack great for edc.

I'm starting to really like these 5.11 products. This is a very well built, compact pack with plenty of room. I have purchased many packs over the years, and this looks like it will be my go to pack this fall. I really like the shoulder straps/harness. Most other packs slip of my shoulders, but this one won't. The only thing I don't like is the chest strap, which is too high, like others have said. But this one minor issue doesn't keep me from giving it 5 stars!

This bag fits perfectly under an airline seat to qualify as a personal item. I have carried this effortlessly through many airports. It's easy to take on and off, and the straps are so comfortable that I don't pay them attention. It's balanced well on my back and has a tote handle at the top for exiting and getting on aircraft, trains, etc, where things are tight. I pack my 15-inch laptop, battery backup, two cell phones, medication, liquids for flight and toiletries, a pair of jeans, flip flops, shorts, three pairs of boxers, pens, note pads, two shirts, four pairs of socks, a book, phone chargers, flashlight, keys, and a wallet without having issues. I even put paperwork I don't want to be crushed in the zip-up area between the packs and the straps that keep everything nice, flat, and wrinkle-free. I can still fit it under an airline seat without any issues. The pack is sturdy and lightweight. Perfect for travel, as a guy, at least.
