So I've been using it for over 2 months now and no complaints at all. It was easy to build but I did have a minor due to not so clear instructions between 1 set of steps. Anyways, it looks good and holds a lot of my books. I'm actually putting more than 20 lbs per shelf (my books are heavy) and it's been holding itself quite well. Thumbs up for this one.

The shelf was good. Sturdy. The baby screwdriver that came with it sucks though! It stripped on the 1st screw! Made it interesting to put together because I didnt have another short screwdriver.

I ended up using a drill on this bookcase. Cranking away with a screwdriver? No, thanks. Not only that, but either way, with or without a screwdriver or drill, the wood breaks away on the other side. Doesn't show, so I guess it doesn't matter, but it's a bit unnerving. Maybe I did it wrong, but if you are stuck trying to do this with a regular screwdriver, it is a LOT of work. Glad I had my trusty DeWalt :)Looks great in the end, and I am thrilled with my purchase!

This was the easiest bookcase/shelf of any kind to assemble. The trickiest part is attaching the X bars to the back. What took the longest was screwing the shelves on. I couldn't use my angled electric screwdriver bc it wouldn't fit in the space and I about completely stripped a screw. Apart from that I love it. It holds all my books, looks great in my living room, east to move very lightweight.

The bookcase looks great in my new home office. The assembly was pretty easy but installing the shelves would have taken forever if I didn’t have a drill.

I suppose $90 isn't all that expensive in the scheme of things, but this Shelf feels just so very cheap. The wood feels decent, but is unlevel and makes assembling frustrating as the tension against each corner works against each other. The Metal, quality doesn't feel sturdy or stable. and the Plastic attachment piece that holds the whole thing together is wobbly and depressing. But hey Shelves, so yeah... at least I now have Shelves.

I really like how this bookcase is sturdy and attractive. It suits my decor and holds lots of books even my heavy hardback books. Am thinking of buying another one.

I like this shelf, it is the right color- light oak and blank. It is sturdy and was super easy to put together. I just wish I had paid more attention to the size/dimensions when I ordered it because it is smaller than I thought it would be. Great shelf otherwise, but just might order a 2nd one for more storage.Also, I ordered the L-shaped desk that matches and I love my home office now! They match perfectly and am very happy with both purchases!
