This product is pretty good! I’ve only used it once, but I think I like it. I did apply this without gloves (like I have no good sense- please don’t do that. It ruined the texture of the skin on my hands for a while), and it was a pretty easy application. I had to put it in a smaller bottle with a nozzle, since this didn’t come with one. The application before you wash it out may feel like what the duckie (mine was dry as you know what. But to be fair, I’d accidentally jacked up a benzonite clay treatment on my hair in my previous wash that I didn’t get to condition back to moisture), but once you wash it out and you’re able to use your regular products, you will love the results. I’m going to need a few treatments to really get my hair to smooth the way that I need, but I have no doubt that this could be the product that I can rely on to get me there. My hair type is African American, natural, with every curl type you can imagine. A,B,C,1,2,3,4- lol all of em! So if you have extra curly or coily hair, this could be a great product for you. Be very careful not to break your hair off in the processing. The smoothing of this treatment will def help with future breakage though; by decreasing tension and dryness at the curl point of the hair shaft. I hope that makes sense. I hope that this review really helps someone, because this is the review that I was looking for before I purchased this. The value for what you get is absolutely worth it as well.

Unfortunately this product broke all my long natural hair off. Attached photo is before using the product and the video is after using the product. I had previously had a Keritain treatment done twice at a salon after going natural and cutting off my relaxed hair in March 2020. My hair grew really fast. By August/September 2020 it was healthy and big (see first pic). I wanted to save time and money and so decided to try Lasso Mocha at home. I chose it for its easy application, which it was easy to do. After I applied it I thought it had worked really well. It had really reduced the fizz and the curls were looser. My hair was very shiny. I was a little concerned that my curls were actually too loose in some areas my hair had gone straight with no curls. The hair did feel really soft and was easy to manage. But then my hair started to fall out. Unfortunately I lost all of my length. My hair dresser thinks it’s the Formaldehyde that has caused it to break. I did like how easy it was to apply - which is why I chose this brand. My hair is now braided and I’ve been advised to wait 6months to a year for it to grow back before trying any Keritain treatment again but I’m a bit scared now. I now know that I should stay away from Formaldehyde. I want to try the Formaldehyde free one they do but I’m worried that it will also break my hair.

Muy bueno el producto, lo único que llego muy mal empacado, rota la tapa de la botella y el producto se derramó casi la mitad, y es demasiado caro para que no le pongan un plástico mucho más fuerte y no se rompa la botella de plástico, el plástico protector muy débil y con cualquier accidente se saldrá todo el producto, por favor mejoren el empaque y protejan mucho mejor el producto. Gracias

Love this product. My hair looks great and it was easy to use.

Love this product so much. Been doing it myself since the pandemic and will continue forever. The mocha silk is not too strong for my hair…I’m white/italian…my hair was very kinky curly in life before keratin…I would say I have a lot of fine hair. Frizzy beyond your wildest dreams. Keratin has been life changing. The trade off is, I can’t do highlights anymore. My hair can’t handle both. But I will choose my level 3/4 brown with keratin hands down. There is Always tape ins in you want highlights! I wish keratin was invented in my 20’s.
