Shen Min DHT Blocker Tablets for Men and Women, Strengthening Formula, 60 Count

Ok I've just completed 4 months of this product and I'm just now starting to really notice that the shedding has drastically been reduced. I was shedding hair by the fist full starting about 1 year ago. I panicked about 6 months when the shedding wasn't slowing down. My hair was so beautiful and full and long and had sooo much volume. This hasn't restored any of that but that wasn't my expectation. I just needed the shedding to stop or at least slow down which it has. Today in the shower I shed maybe 20 hairs compared to a huge black fist full in the past. Be patient and consistent with this product, your hair shedding didn't happen over night so don't expect this stuff to work that quickly either.The folks that talk about seeing hair growth after 1 week are sorely misguided and have most likely been influenced by the power of suggestion. That simply is not how the hair growth cycle works. It takes at least 6 weeks for you to see any new growth as it happened to me. I have tons of dark baby fine hairs on my hairline which is super exciting. To further be transparent in my review, I have been using minoxidil 2% twice daily for the same duration of time. I just started the the Lipogaine Big 3 shampoo about 2 weeks ago but seriously doubt the hair shedding has decreased due to just 2 weeks of this. I will continue to use this shampoo because I want to attack the hair loss with a multiple prong approach. Also, because I want to accelerate the hair growth, I just started taking the Hairfluence pills. I'll update review in 6 months and let you all know. But again be patient and persistent with the DHT blocker pills and don't form an opinion until you've taken them for at least 4 months.

Hyperbole? Maybe a little. But let me explain.I'm a woman with PCOS. There are many icky side effects to PCOS, but the one that I struggle with the most is the male pattern hair growth and loss. Meaning, my hair was thinning on my head, but growing quite well in places I didn't want it to. Being a woman with hair that grows on your face, belly, and posterior isn't fun folks. I've tried lots of things over the years, but for whatever reason I just recently heard about the possible help that saw palmetto could bring -- as a natural DHT blocker, there don't seem to have been many studies done, but I read a couple of accounts of women with PCOS finding relief with saw palmetto, with no real accounts of side effects. So, why not?After some research, I chose the Shen Min formula, partially because of the good reviews here.And well deserved! Just a little over a month I've been faithfully taking one of these twice a day -- and I'm noticing a REMARKABLE difference. There is new growth at my hairline (which looks a little weird as it's starting to come in, but I'm happily patient!), there is MUCH less hair in the shower drain guard in the mornings, and most importantly (to me) I'm shaving the spots I shave less often, and the hair I remove from other spots with an epilator has been WAY slower at growing back in. As in - before Shen Min DHT Blocker I would have to run it every 3 or 4 days if I wanted it clear. At the time I'm writing this, I'm at over a week since I went through that painful annoyance, and I'm *just* starting to notice new growth - and it's less dense, less noticeable.No side effects that I've noticed - the instructions say to take it with a meal, and I've read that saw palmetto can cause stomach upset, but that taking it with a meal keeps that at bay. I've only taken them with food, and I've not had any unusual gastric effects.As someone else has mentioned -- if your hair loss (or stigmatizing hirsutism for the girls out there) is not due to a hormone problem, this is likely not going to help you. So this isn't for everyone. But if hormones are the bad guys in your situation, I'd definitely advise giving it a try.As a woman with PCOS this is very much a life changing sort of product -- and one that I will continue to use until I hit menopause at least. (Because PCOS symptoms usually subside with "the change.")Thanks Shen Min. I only wish I'd found you sooner!

First let me say, that if this product does not work for you, or you lose more hair, it has nothing to do with your DHT's and may be something more serious.I fell ill badly and had no choice but to take very strong medicine which ended up making me lose my hair, I am a 37 year old male and it is natural to lose some hair at my age, however, after treatment I lost a lot of hair and was told that my hair was to grow back in months, but it never did.So I decided to try this brand as it is all natural and will not affect my stomach in any way. You have to give it a chance, some people see a difference right away while it will take the full four months to even start to notice a change in hair loss. For me it was two months.Now, if you are taking prescribed medicine please talk to your doctor and let them know that you are on this, just because it's natural doesn't mean that it won't interact in a very bad way with the meds that your doctor has you on and chances are you May lose more hair while taking this product if not careful with what else you're taking.Now, as I said, I am a 37 year old male and I will say this, the side affects in males can be breast enlargement, so make sure you're doing push ups or being very careful of the amount of fat you're in taking or are on a exercise program. Next side affect for some: it may or may not affect your erections, or lack of sexual pleasure also it may affect ejaculation.I also strongly recommend taking the hair nutrient by this brand as well...Again, be careful with what else you're taking with this, your best friend is research, careful research.Good luck

Great for hair regrowth. Results are not instantaneous but do help strengthen existing hair. Can't comment on grey as don't have much yet.Four stars due to price...

These tablets are on the large side so some people may have trouble swallowing them. I was fine with them.With these things you will only see results over a period of time.I use a bunch of different tablets and hair lotions. My hairdresser compliments my hair health so I take comfort in this.

It is the one and only vitamin that really helps my hair growing.

blocker made me tired/muscle fatigued
