Nf Dual Wideview Workspace

I just love this sit-stand workstation, the Neo-Flex 24-194-055 Dual WideView by Ergotron. The workstation arrives "semi-assembled" in a very heavy-duty shipping carton that should withstand most shipping ordeals. Assembly requires about 2 hours. The Ergotron components are well-crafted and heavy duty.A spring-loaded counterbalance is adjustable to handle the exact weight of monitor, keyboard and mouse. A touch of the finger extends the workstation to standing position, and back down to sitting position. Standing or sitting, the top of the monitor should be at eye level.I configured my Ergotron with two Lenovo ThinkVision LT2452p monitors mounted in portrait orientation. I selected these 1920x1200 24" monitors because they are 14 pounds each, matching the maximum monitor weight specified by Ergotron. The LT2452p monitors also feature VESA 100x100 mounts perfectly centered on the back, and are designed for operation in both landscape and portrait modes. At the time I purchased, very few monitors met the criteria. Today, many more lightweight monitors with thin bezel frames and VESA 100 mounts are available.Although I really like this sit-stand workstation, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because the 80-105-064 Universal CPU Holder is not very service friendly. When a hard drive on my HP computer failed, removing the HP computer from the mounting cables became a one-hour ordeal, starting with the search for the 5-sided allen wrench provided by Ergotron. I said "never again," and looked for replacement CPU holder. Ergotron offers only the 80-105-064 Universal CPU Holder for the NeoFlex, so I searched elsewhere. The Wall Mount made by Innovation First is a perfect replacement for the 80-105-064 Universal CPU Holder, turning this 4-star product into a 5-star product. See my review elsewhere on Amazon.If, like me, you have been sitting for many years, you will have to ease into standing, starting with short standing stints between sitting stints. The Ergotron makes it easy to instantly change your position in seconds. I also use a stand-assist device; the MOGO seat manufactured by Focal Upright. Once again, start slowly, each day adding a few minutes to your MOGO assisted standing time stints.
