Pure joy in a can!!! Worth every penny!
Ever since eating this treat at my local Indian restaurant, I have been obsessed. If gulab jamun isn’t available on the buffet when I go, the staff brings me out a generous bowl on the house because they are wonderful people and understand my love for gulab jamun. I could not control my joy when I saw I could actually have this item whenever I wanted through Amazon. I was not disappointed in my purchase. These gulab jamun were delicious! Smaller than I am used to but that just means I can eat more. The syrup seemed thicker than the restaurants but I simply added a little water and toned down the sweetness. These babies make me SO happy! Please keep in mind that I am an American girl with polish parents so I have never had the pleasure of consuming Homemade gulab jamun nor have I traveled to India to taste the real Indian version. So my comparison of this is only with an Americanized Indian restaurant; however, it is owned by an Indian family and oh my goodness it is delightful! My cans have arrived dented every time I’ve ordered these. I don’t really mind considering the journey these babies have likely taken. Eat up everyone! This is a can of pure happiness!

Came dented but surprised it tasted delicious. Would definitely recommend. Not sure about the quality of ingredients though.
