Great flashcard deck. Pretty expensive, but also comprehensive. I’m an aging learning nerd who realized many country names have changed since I rode dinosaurs to geography class so I bought this to bone up for the next round of Jeopardy. I understand from a couple of other reviews that there may be a couple of inaccuracies, but the overall quality and information is outstanding. I should probably look for grammar flash cards too. I seem to recall something about run-on sentences.

These flash cards have been such a great find! My 7-year-old probably knows more countries than I do now. We've been using them to play games together, and she’s getting so good at recognizing flags and country names. We learn a few new ones at a time, then add them to the pile. Sometimes we use a timer to see how fast she can guess all the flags. She absolutely loves the challenge! It’s turned into a fun bonding and learning activity for both of us. Such a good buy for any curious kid who loves geography or just wants to learn in a playful way!

Great set. Would love to see them add Reunion, Saint Helena, Bonair, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Barthelemy, U.S. Virgin Islands, Abkhazia, Republic of Artsakh, and South Ossetia to make it an even 300 though. Should be noted that it’s difficult to determine aspect ratio on these cards since they’re all 2.5x3.5 inches and the flag image takes up most if not all of one side of the card — some fill the width but not height when stretching it would skew the images or fine details on the flag. This only really affects differentiating Monaco vs Indonesia. The flag on the cards look identical, but in reality the aspect ratio is different. Also worth mentioning, if the flag has any identifiable text that gives away its origin (mostly the states), that text appears on the cards too. So if you’re trying to learn the flags solely by their image, you may need to find a way to obfuscate the text.

These are phenomenal! The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it doesn't have the Canadian provinces separated into separate cards. It simply puts Canada as one of the parts of North America ... I think I'll still keep them because it may help with the rest of the year's geography/cartography, but it's a major bummer.

I think cards like these are flexible in how they can be used. Geography, International Relations, Politics, Human Rights, Demography, Art, and so on, looking at everyone in the world, these flash cards can be used as a tool for study, testing, and organizing research. I opted for the more pricey cards which are sturdy and colorful, to help be an inspiration and useful tool in my work. I had to accept the reality that the world changes everyday and Humanity is moving forward. Countries change their names, capitals, population, flags, and so on. New countries are established and existing countries merge. I create side cards as needed to keep up with the world. In this case, a publisher closer to home was a plus.

These are SO worth the price! My daughter is a geography nut and we quiz each other using these cards all the time. If there is someone in your life that likes this kind of thing, spring for this slightly more expensive but wonderful deck.
