Stuhrling Original Men's 206B.334514 Sportsman Zeppelin Z2 Automatic Black PVD Watch

I bought this watch as a christmas present for my friend. He saw this watch and fell in love with it instantly. I personally didn't like it due to the winding! It came in the mail on time, before the estimated delivery date; very impressed with that.BUT IT WON'T WORK! Im livid, trying my best to find humor as i type this. I winded the watch counter-clockwise about 40 times, then clockwise about 30. And it still won't work. I tried wearing it hoping it'll work. won't work!!Did they ship a defective product? im not sure but i need this resolved.Im going to call them tomorrow, business hours and hopefully i come back and update you guys with something positive.---Update.Amazon did a great Job rushing out a watch that works- it arrived on the next day.It was a bittersweet transaction. I love how they dealt with their mistake. Wasn't any hassle. I returned the defective watch, they send me a working 1.They restored my faith.

I purchased this watch because I wanted something different from my other watches. I was looking for an automatic skeleton watch and something with a hint of steampunk sensibility. This watch was perfect. I love the extra thickness of the face, especially considering how comfortable the watch is. As I said, it has a slight steampunk lean and the face, while large, is not ridiculously so. The copper and black colors contrast nicely and make for a clean, machined finish.All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and I will definitely be looking at Stuhrling for future watch purchases.

The watch is stunning. It is hands-down the best-looking watch I've owned. So it was all the more disappointing when it finally broke.I received the watch as a gift for Christmas. This is not my first Stuhrling Automatic watch, so I know how to wind and care for it. It arrived unwound, of course. When I first wound it, I noticed how difficult it was to wind. I pulled and pushed the crown a few times to make sure it was engaging properly. It seemed to be engaging just fine. It just took a considerable amount to torque to wind it. There was no grinding or slipping, the mechanism was just really stiff.Long story short, the winding mechanism slowly grew worse; intermittently engaging, inconsistent length of engagement, etc. By the tenth day of normal wear, the winding mechanism stopped working entirely; the crown spun freely in both directions. By day eleven, the watch started drastically losing time and couldn't even be set properly.With a heavy heart, I packaged up the watch for a return. I'm slightly disappointed with Amazon in that they received the watch on the 27th of January and as of today (February 17th), I had heard nothing from them. I called them today and worked it out. I should be receiving a credit to my account for the purchase price of the watch in 2-3 business days.I'm guessing there was some complication with the fact that my brother (who bought it for me as a gift) and I are half of the country apart. (The fact that this was the SECOND watch that was shipped out for this order as the first one mysteriously disappeared, tipped me off that I was most likely going to be in for a challenge.)All in all, I'm fairly easy to please, so I'm not terribly disappointed with the transaction. Amazon was a bit slow, but looks like they'll do right in the end.However, I am disappointed with Stuhrling's quality control in this case. Seeing the troubles others have had with this particular model should have been a warning. My hypothesis is this particular model is a factory second of:  Stuhrling Original Men's 206.3345101 Reserve Collection Automatic Skeleton Watch Notice the model numbers: the watch I received - 206B.334514 & the Reserve Collection edition - 206.3345101They have almost the same model number; the 206B vs 206 is the curious part to me. I believe 206 is the case type (B refers to it being a "second"?), 3345 is the finish (Rose Gold) and the 14 or 101 is the strap type. But I could be wrong, it's just a hypothesis. Maybe Stuhrling can speak to this?I'm going to order the Reserve Edition (either the Gold version:  Stuhrling Original Men's 206.333531 Reserve Collection Automatic Skeleton Watch  or the Rose Gold version mentioned above if it becomes available again. I prefer the Rose Gold, but the regular gold is just as striking.)I'll update this review with my findings and I will link to the review of the next watch. I received this watch about a month ago as a gift. It is so different I really like the looks. I receive so many positive comments when wearing the watch. It kept fantastic time for about 3 weeks then it started losing about half an hour each night when i placed it on the night stand. now it loses about 15 minutes an hour. I am currently trying to get Stuhrling to repair under warranty.Up date...while waiting for Stuhrling customer service to respond to my e-mails the crown broke off of the watch. it is now at stuhrling's repair center waiting for them to either repair or replace. cost me $20.00 plus shipping($9.00) to send to them for evaluation under warranty. Crazy that I have to pay for them to evaluate a watch that so far has been a big disappointment.

Love this watch, always get complements on it. Very unique, great fit and finish. Keeps time very accurately, even when left in a watch winder for an extended period of time (two weeks). Its a great spin on the skeleton style watch, with the mechanism suspended in in glass. And the styling suit both formal and casual ware. Very happy with this purchase!!!

SMALL BAND.....HUGE DIAL....A LITTLE MUCH FOR DAY TO DAY WEAR....BUT INTERESTING DESIGN NONETHELESS...NOT WORTH THE PRICE THOUGH---IT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE...NEXT TIME I WOULD NOT PAY A DIME OVER $50...NOT THE BEST WATCH FOR THE PRICE I PAID...BUT ITS NOT A TOTAL LOSS...YOU SAVE MONEY ON THE BATTERY SINCE ITS AUTOMATIC...SO I GUESS THAT'S A PLUS
