I have a small shop in my garage. We got a puppy and needed a screen door. I built a 36" x 79" door, weighs about 20 lbs. Fit the opening perfectly, except I needed some 7/8" standoffs to bring the hinges out to match the trim. Made them and installed the door and 2 hinges. Adjusting the return broke both hinges. They suck big time. I'm 72 and worked construction for 45 yrs and have hung 1,000 doors. These hinges suck.

The hinges are beautiful and relatively easy to install.
My only complaint is I had to go online to find directions for installation and setting the springs. Otherwise, they’re beautifully made and should hold up a lifetime!

Love how these look. They were very easy to install, even the spring load setting was a breeze. This is a wonderful look for barn door styles! Quality and price exceeded my expectations! Would buy again!

Springs will not work as designed.
Used 4 hinges, on 2 screen doors. Unable to tighten enough to close the door, even had to use 2 “pins” in order to turn to tighten the spring. Then, 2 of the 4 hinges the spring “end” came out of the housing, then the spring was junk!Would not recommend buying. Had to purchase old fashioned springs in order to get the doors to close themselves.
