K92

Really enjoying these, as others have said, they definitely have a clamp factor but I'm confident it'll lessen over time. Aside from that they are pretty comfortable; it could just be the clamping but at the moment it feels like the sides of my ears are touching the drivers slightly, but again that could clear up. They are way lighter than I expected so there is no real pressure on the top of your head. I actually wanted to find out how light these were so I weighed them and they weigh nothing. Literally 0 in every unit of measurement.Other minuses that have been mentioned are the very long cable, which most people will find to be entering the realm of absurdity. To the poor reviewer whose cable got tangled up in the wheels of their chair until they threw the headphones at a wall in rage; thank you, you've inspired me to coil the cable and tie it up so it's effectively 1.5 metres rather than 300.I'm not much of an audiophile, but I've been making s***ty electronic music in my bedroom for the past two years so I know a little bit about sounds and stuff. These sound really fantastic to my ear, although my only comparison points are consumer grade in ear headphones and a pair of Marley Liberate XL's so keep that in mind. The XL's are pretty good but they lean noticeably towards lower frequencies, having Marley's signature warm, bassy sound. These on the other hand are supposed to be neutral so I was worried that with my electronic tendencies there wouldn't be enough bass to satisfy me. Strangely that is not the case at all, the bass doesn't sound much quieter than my Marley's, it's punchier and a hundred times more detailed. As a little side note, the fact that the bass didn't disappoint me lends a little weight to the man who said these had very bloated bass. I don't have a pair of headphones that I know are fully neutral so I can't say for myself whether the bass is actually bloated, however I can say that the bass never feels overpowering and doesn't smother the mids or highs, all frequencies sound incredibly detailed to me, especially the highs. In fact, the highs are a tad harsh in certain songs with particularly harsh percussion, I've mainly experienced this with trap and haven't had any issues with jazz, rock or old school hip hop,– only electronic music. On the note of highs I haven't heard any noticeable sibilance excepting during "Heartbreak" by Yelawolf. They aren't particularly portable, but I sort of like the purity of the fact that don't really do anything except play music. No in line mic or controls, no bells or whistles just good music, which is a pretty beautiful approach and embodied by a very beautiful pair of headphones. These look absolutely stunning, despite the fact that the materials look (and probably are, given the price) cheap. I'll definitely be keeping AKG in mind for future purchases on account of their appearanc alone.I think that pretty much sums up this review. I like these a lot and have been primarily listening to music over the past couple of days to hear all of the details I missed before, everything sounds so much clearer and more alive than before. Would definitely recommend these cans :)

These closed-back AKG headphones are incredible. I’ve never been able to wear other over-ear headphones for more than 15 minutes without feeling uncomfortable. Most brands I’ve tried are too heavy or tight, and they end up making the top of my head and my ears sore. If you have a sensitive head, these are absolutely for you.I’ve owned another pair of AKGs in the past that were great, but these are even better. I mainly use them for playing shooter games with a separate mic, and the sound quality is perfect for distinguishing different types of noises and pinpointing where they’re coming from. They block out just enough background noise to keep me focused, but not so much that I can’t hear my cats causing chaos in the background.I wore them for over five hours straight, and by the end, I actually forgot I even had them on—they’re that comfortable. They’re super lightweight, the build feels solid, and the audio quality is more than impressive. I even started using them for music now, and they sound fantastic.Definitely money well spent!

These earphones had good reviews so I decided to give them a try. They feel nice and comfortable and offer a decent sound. Not much for midrange but there's enough to hear full sound. The construction feels flimsy and fragile, but they seem to hold together well enough. These are really lightweight when you put them on, you hardly even notice them! Even though the description says they are closed ear, you still hear plenty of background noise because these fit so lightly on your head. You have to keep the top strap centered perfectly balanced on your head or these tend to slip off. Still trying to get used to them. Plenty of cord length to reach your device well. It's hard to find good quality comfortable headphones at a good price range.

I’ve got a lot of headphones from cheap to expensive, but these might be the best value in a headphone I’ve seen.Build quality is good for any price level, and near excellent for a $50 set of cans. The ear pads are a nicer level of vinyl, and I do not think are upgradable (I haven’t tried to peal them off). They are listed as over ear and closed back, and they really are. Even some of my more expensive headphones are just barely large enough to go over the ear. The AKGs are comfortably large enough to gently encompass your ear, and the closed back and seal keep outside noise out and your music to yourself.Cable is long enough and comes with a screw in adapter for the 3.5mm plug so you can use it in your console or headphone amp.The sound is very neutral, and excellent. Bass heads won’t like them, but that’s what Beats are for I guess. Easy to listen to for many hours without fatigue. They are in the big side, and they don’t collapse for travel, so their more suited for listening at home or on very long flights.

I ordered these way back in October 2022 as my very first pair of studio headphones when I first started getting into audio. As a beginner, I didn't have a great idea of what I was looking for but I was familiar with AKG's reputation, the price was on point, and I thought they looked really cool. It's now July 2024. All of that original recording equipment has since been replaced with the exception of these headphones, which I love just as much as the day I first tried them on. I'm definitely still an amateur - so audiophiles, this is not the review for you - but I find the sound excellent and they're so comfortable I barely even notice them after several hours of wear. And (most importantly) they still make me look just as cool.

Flimsy. Light weight. I was expecting a better fit. Sound is ok. Could wear these all day for long sessions. No fatigue.

These sound great, need little power to drive them. I own $300 beyerdynamic headphones but they require lots of power to drive, and got these K92s as a second to plug into the mixer for tracking but I find these are also great to plug into my MacBook for listening to music, and I hear lots of new elements in the music that I never heard before, is like hearing certain songs for the first time! They have lots of punch, that is, quick dynamic drums or synths feel percussive rather than mushy because I'm these headphones drivers are so quick to start and stop moving. These are way better sounding than Grado mid $100-200 cans which I returned because those were overrated.

They arrived in perfect condition, and even before the expected date. The sound quality is delicious, just what you need if you're making music.- they gives you real sound, no boosts. The design is very fancy (will look great on your desk) and they're surprisingly light (you can wear them for hours without getting tired of them).

Testei com o Kind of Blue (1959) do Miles Davis, o We Like It Here (2014), do Snarky Puppy e o Ma Fleur (2007), do The Cinematic Orchestra.
