The button battery died on my original remote (Type: RG15D/E-ELL-1A). I decided to try a new remote instead of buying a battery. This remote worked perfectly. No programing necessary. I Just installed 2 aaa batteries and BOOM!! it worked. No fuss no muss. Now if the batteries die it's just a matter of replacing the triple a's and not some off the wall button battery.

Remote control for my window air conditioner. No need to enter a code. Was designed to replace the original remote control for my particular window air conditioner. Works great and doesn't feel cheap. I'm 100% satisfied.

Bought our air conditioner about six years ago and it came with a tiny crappy remote that barely functioned. I always had to struggle with the buttons to get it to work. Finally it stopped even working after fighting with it. This new one is so easy to use and works just fine. Finally no more struggling with a remote and it works.

Replacement for Frigidaire Type: RG15D/E-ELL. Good range. Doesn’t light up and it has larger batteries than original, so the batteries should last a long time. No programming or pairing was required, worked right out the wrapper.UPDATE: Clicker stopped working after a couple weeks. Found that the positive end of the right-hand battery wasn’t making reliable contact with its terminal (why the terminal made from a small spring?). The barrel of the battery was touching the plastic housing and prevented it from reaching its terminal, so I pulled the little terminal spring out far enough to make contact. I also had to sneak the positive end of the battery into the clicker so the spring wouldn’t bend aside. Clicker is working again.

I lost the remote for my old a/c and found this online. It was inexpensive, came with batteries, and is easier to use than the original remote. I especially like the control buttons that are a bit raised, so you can power off or change settings without turning on a light! Great for bedrooms.

Tried this but it doesn't work too well. When I press the temp up button it goes up 2 degrees instead of one. When I press any button for that matter it seems to do two things at once. If I partially obscure the infrared emitter it seemed to work OK -- so I'm guessing they just didn't get right the design of how bright the emitter should be. And yes my AC came with a RG15D/E-ELL and this one is supposed to replace a RG15D/E-ELL. Thank you Amazon for giving me my money back on the return.
