nabi Jr. nick Jr. Edition Tablet

I got this item refurbished from the seller VIPOUTLET. No complaints about the seller! It came before it was scheduled to, it was in perfect shape with no signs of previous use. Also came with oem nabi charge cable.Here's my complaint. The description says preloaded with Nick Jr content. Which is a stretch. It has dora, umizoomi, backyardigans, bubble guppies, ni hao kailan, and I think one other. It has 6 games, 6 "videos" (clips less than a couple minutes long) and 6 books. There's my gripe. I head Nick Jr content, I think all Nick Jr. I for this for my 2.5yr old bcuz he LOOOOOVES paw patrol. Zero paw patrol. And you can't even get Nick Jr on it. I was able to get Amazon underground downloaded thru the website in the browser. So i at least got Netflix on it. But the software isn't even high enough to get the nick Jr app. Very disappointed. At this point I will have to get the biggest sd card it accepts and put all the episodes off my computer into it. Which is nearly 50 gigs. Huge paint in the a$$. It only takes mp4 video files so everything needs to be converted which takes HOURS. They store to the camera gallery which is weird. Took me forever to find the couple I loaded on there. It does have Wi-Fi sync which is nice I suppose.A couple features I really like.. The nabi mode is very secure. He cant do anything or access anything unless it's been added to a preapproved list. He's unable to even come close to making purchases. Its super easy for him to navigate. The shock proof case has proved to work wonders. Hes had it less than a week and has thrown it no fewer than a dozen times and it shows no damage, cosmetic or otherwise. I put a screen protector (from Wal-Mart) on there for a little extra protection. One of my favorite features (which i still don't have a full understanding of) is the MeeGenius app. When he opens it, it displays bookshelves and has dozens of books, classics, that he can click on and They will be read aloud to him. He loves it so much.Overall he really loves it. Its a little bit of a pain trying to figure put, and I'm fairly tech savvy. I gave it 4 stars bcuz my kid really does love it and That's what matters.Bottom line, if nabi is going to advertise this as a Nick Jr edition, it should at LEAST be able to support the nick Jr app.

Awesome tablet, hit for a couple of things. First, the proprietary plug is a real let down... you can't just run to the store to get a new charging cable. Second, unlike other proprietary devices like the Fire series, you CAN'T install G services and play store... only Amazon App Store. Bummer. Third, it's not quite as durable as it should be, given that case bumper... this made it about a year and a half. The rotating camera only lasted about 4 months. The tablet finally gave up the ghost yesterday when it was thrown down by an angry four year old. Five stars for the durability (it DID in fact make it a year and a half through the toddler of terror), but I had to knock a star for the plug and the lack of ability to install G services and Play Store.

Bought this for Christmas for my 3yr old daughter, so she has yet to use it. It was deliever within 4 days. I did, however, open it and did the start up/programming so it's ready to rock Christmas morning. From what I can tell, it's a great little tablet. Easy to use, Android software, loaded with apps and learning material including some of Nick Jr material, and I completely love when you go to "mommy/daddy- mode" it's a full tablet. Only thing that's a little concerning is that the protective bumper is made of the really soft rubber material, so it's a bit "slippery", even I have to be careful not to let it slip from my hands. Regardless, I think it'll be perfect for my daughter. I'll update my review once she gets her little hands on it.

I bought this refurbished from Bargain The People. I was a little concerned doing that, but it came in great condition and with a charger.The Nick Jr version is so awesome and has tons of e-books, games, puzzles, flash cards, etc on it and my 2 1/2 year old absolutely loves it. We got tired of filling up space on our iPhones with kid apps and then having to share our phones with a toddler, so this was perfect for us! Every single thing they do on this phone is educational and I'm amazed at everything it can do! I also love that it's not interrupting him to ask him to purchase things like iPhone apps do. This is absolutely perfect for toddlers and preschool aged children.We charge it every night and it lasts during the day when he wants to play it just fine. It also has WIFI on it, so when we are at our house he can do more things like watch videos on it. Like I said, it's the best thing we've ever bought for him.

I purchased this for my 6 year old (who had developmental delays) for Christmas. She loves it and plays with it almost daily. She does not really know how to play the games due to her delays but really enjoys listening to the music and drawing. My cousin also has one and absolutely loves hers as well. I can also attest to their durability as my daughter has thrown hers a couple of times and it has also been covered with food on a few occasions. The battery life is amazing, which is great because I have forgotten to plug it up for a couple days in a row. It is a nice distraction to keep my daughter happy and out of trouble while also working on teaching her letters, numbers etc. I do like to sit with her and try to show her how some of the games work so we also play with it together. Definitely worth the price!

I love this for 2-4 year olds. It has favorite nick Jr. characters and great learning games. However, I don't like that you can't set time play like the regular Nabi. Also YouTube it not available. I like to download the kids YouTube app because my child like to listen to nursery rhymes. So I always have to put it in nabi mommy mode and go online for her to get on that. And of course it doesn't work once we leave out the house or don't have access to wifi. I would love to be able to download nick Jr or Disney Jr apps on here as well. The tablet otherwise it great and has long play time.
