This is a great product and I would definitely recomend for most materials including most slim leather projects. It did not work for me because my leather watch band was much to thick and I miss calculated thickness size and snap wouldnt close completely but everything works correctly and easily put together.

Plenty to go around and great for small projects.

I’m not sure what you should expect from a kit that’s less than $20. Overall, it was okay, but it got the job done so I’ll just go into some detail below for those who are interested in user experience. First of all, my kit was missing one of the tools. This is why I deducted a star. Luckily, I had a different tool from another kit that miraculously fit. It was the tool on step 10 of the instructions. I used a tool from the click-it punch set, which is meant to punch holes so I had to be gentle when hammering it. I messed up one of the pieces by punching through it 😅 Secondly, they do secure, but it took a few good and strong whacks before it stopped spinning around. This was my first time using something like this so it could have easily been user error. It could also be because the hammer is small, but I like that as it makes for easy storage. You can buy a full-sized mallet at harbor freight for $5 if that’s what you prefer. Thirdly, the snaps do feel a little cheap when you snap them on and off, but they don’t come off so they do get the job done. Lastly, the instructions were tricky at first, but that was also my fault. I was too excited to get the snaps snapping that I did not see the instructions and then when I did I was reading left to right across the pages not realizing there’s numbers on each picture. 🤦‍♀️ Regardless, I figured it out and it’s very easy to use now. I like the color variety and am excited to use these for more projects!

Snaps work great, but I use a regular hammer as the hammer that is supplied doesn't work as well.

Came quickly and is as described

I’ve read a lot of reviews saying how the snaps don’t work, come off easily, are too loose, or are poor quality. Definitely not the best quality, but they are completely usuable! The problem with loose snaps that come off easily are probably because of two reasons (other than quality): 1. You aren’t hitting it hard enough 2. The fabric or leather that you are using it on is too thin (or thick) How to solve: 1. Try hitting the snaps harder. I tried using my own regular hammer too. 2. The snaps worked best on ~2-3mm thickness of fabric. Anything under will cause the snaps to be too long and loose and won’t set properly, even if you hit it really hard. 3. Finally, this worked like magic for me - Heat the snaps with a hairdryer before hammering it! It shapes so much easily! Overall, I loved the snaps and how various they were. The hammer and the tools that came with it were also shockingly good. The hole puncher was a little dull though, so try sharpening it on your own if you can. Obviously, the snaps could be better quality, but they work just fine for the price.

Its a great set for small fixes and if you want instruction just watch some videos.

They look good, and the anvil and punch and hammer it comes with all work great. The buttons themselves do not hold very strongly though.

Habe mir das Set gekauft, weil das neue Fell für meine alte Barbour-Jacke nicht mit den vorhandenen Druckknöpfen übereinstimmte. Dank des Set-Inhaltes habe ich es wunderbar hingebracht. Die Beschreibung (auch in deutsch) ist reich bebildert. Die beiligenden Werkzeuge sind wertig und funktionieren. Ich habe mehr erhalten wie ich für den Preis erwartet habe.
