Preventative Flea, Tick & Mosquito Topical Treatment for Large Dogs (21-55 pounds), 6 Count, Packaging May Vary

I recently picked up the Amazon Basics topical flea, tick, and mosquito repellent, and I have to say, I’m really impressed! I was a bit skeptical at first because I usually go for well-known brands, but this product shows that you don’t always have to spend big to get quality. I’ve been using it on my dogs all summer and it seems to work just as well as the name brands I’ve tried in the past. We’ve been out for walks, and thankfully, no fleas or ticks in sight! Plus, it really does help keep the mosquitoes at bay, which is a nice bonus during our evening outings in the south. The application is straightforward, and my pups don’t mind it at all, which is a huge relief. It’s cost-effective too, so I don’t feel bad about reapplying monthly. If you’re looking for a reliable flea and tick solution without breaking the bank, I highly recommend giving this a try. It definitely exceeded my expectations!

Absolutely wonderful product, andthe pricing saves me tons of money. This is the same ingredients at the exact same amounts as K9 Advantix II, except it's $20 as opposed to $80 for the same 6 month supply. It does fleas, ticks, and mosquitos. We've been using it for years now, since it used to be Solimo and now Amazon. Great product at a superb price point! The only "con" I can think of to this product is the applicator. When you go to cut the tip off in a straight line it leaves two very sharp plastic edges on the applicator. Now, if you're careful and aware of these sharp edges, no problem, but just in case you're not, be careful whe pressing the applicator tip on your dogs back or the sharp edges can scrape or nick your dog, which will allow more product to enter. Now, to avoid this entirely, when you go to cut the tip of the applicator with scissors just use the scissors to cut the tip in a ounded shape exposing the applicator. Make sure to cut off those sharp edgess! Amazon, if you're listening, this is literally the only con to the product, the sharp edges after you cut the tip o the applicator. We love this product though!

I wanted a more affordable flea treatment and decided to try this. It’s easy to apply and I didn’t notice any irritation on my dog. After a few weeks, I haven’t seen any fleas and scratching has gone down. I took off one star only because it has a slight smell at first, but it fades quickly. Overall, solid product for the price.

Don’t buy it! I swear it attracted the fleas. Worst flea treatment I’ve ever used

We were using the other popular generic brand of the flea and tick and it completely stopped working this summer. Our guys in less then a month were covered in fleas. When we switched and tried this preventive, the fleas were gone in a month. The protection has lasted all month long. We will definitely continue using this preventive, and at half the price of the name brand it's a great value for the money.

This product was absolute garbage! I am so upset! It didn't work at all and rather than killing the ticks and fleas, it was attracting them to my dog! He was absolutely covered and they would be crawling all over the spot where he sleeps outside (bear in mind I live in Jamaica, so yes he sleeps outside on the verandah). Worked very good. In South Texas tho, on my dogs I have to re-apply a week sooner so it don't last the full 30 days. But is better than nothing.

My dog hates it, but she hates all flea drops. No fleas, ticks, or anything like that, even after fun forest adventures. I also give her flea and tick treats as a deterant, as well as a spray on dog mosquito spray, because fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes are just awful around here, and we love our nature reserves and trails.
