I purchased 4 of them when we did ower bar we had a bar that sat at 42inchs high witch theses stools fit wonderful at im a 280lbs guy and have many friends that are 200lbs plus that come over and sit in them over a year and helf I only have had one stool fail and not stay up it slowly goes down and one other one that seams to not be as sturdy as the others kinda rocks alittle more witch we keep as last resort stool lol but over all not bad. Alittle price I think a year and helf ago I think I paid like 140 for each so price has gone up 60 dont think I be replacing them for 200 each.

I work on my computer a lot and I have a raised desk so that I can stand. This helps me avoid sitting for long hours to avoid back issues. However, even after standing up for long I take breaks with sitting. That being said, I needed a high stool that is adjustable depending on my needs.The chair was a breeze to set up and took me about 5 minutes. Once assembled it is relatively light and I was able to position it to where I wanted in no time. All of that being said, there is one major drawback (that I fixed) - the base of the chair is not very stable and if you are on carpet it will wobble if you shift your weight. Since I have an old computer/office chair lying around I decided to swap out the bases since my computer chair had wheels as well as a wider base. So I simply swapped the bases out and not only can I roll the chair but it is substantially more stable and firm.Pros:- Looks great- Light- Easy to assembleCons:- Base is not that wide which can cause instability (fixed with replacing the base, if you read above)

I was looking for a bar stool that had following criteria, (1) Height adjustments (2) back support (3) stable/sturdy seating (4) comfortable (5) matched my wood & steel surroundings. I have hardwood floor and cabinets with steel appliances. (6) something that did not look cheap.Initially I was skeptical as there were no reviews but this seemed to match my needs. After taking the plunge, ordering and using it for few weeks now, I think I made a good choice. Happy so far.Only issue I have is, when you swing and the back side of the seat (wooden area) hits the marble on kitchen island, the polish easily gets off and you can see light yellow spots on the wood (inner material). I wish it was more sturdy and stood up against small bumps.Did not took me more than 15 minutes to assemble each.

I bought this stool for only one reason. I play a lot of Playstation VR Games. I have no problem with any game sitting down.PSVR is fabulous but for some, it causes motion sickness and vertigo. Even though most games have comfort settings, some still have issues.For me, I can play any VR game as long as I am sitting. There are a few new games that you have to be standing in order to play correctly. SPRINT VECTOR is one of them. It requires you to race in a game using your arms to run, jump and fly. I am ok with the running , but the jumping and the flying and stopping suddenly if necessary while running, I get a bit dizzy and feel like I am falling..I'm 71 by the way.I selected this one because it allows me to sit at the same height I would be standing at., and keeping my arms free.The game can't calibrate if your are sitting.There are several new games that require you to stand.This saved the day. Yes the finish is crappy, but its a $75. copy of a much more expensive chair. I didn't expect anything different.I also weigh about 240, and feels very sturdy to me..I am getting another one.

I am a large individual, always have been & as I age it's just getting worse. I originally purchased a cheap drafting chair to play guitar for extended periods of time without killing my knees and ankles. After multiple ACL surgeries & a battle with gout, I simply needed to get a chair that I could sit in and make music without killing myself by standing up. Well the first chair broke, embarrassingly enough, because I weighed to much. I checked the weight rating on it & too my utter shock 185 lbs... (Are you kidding me??? I know under weight guys who weight more then that.) Well needless to say that piece of junk got returned. So this led me on a journey for big and tall chairs. While I found a ton of chairs specifically made for big dudes like me, they were just not in my price range ($300+). So honestly, I just took a guess. I saw this chair on Amazon & said "Well it looks pretty sturdy". Thankfully, I was correct & it is very sturdy thus far! It fits my big backside well & at the lowest setting I can hit my guitar pedals wonderfully! WARNING - Guitar players reading this, keep in my I'm 6'10.... Anyone to much smaller might not be able to reach the floor with their feet.UPDATE: I bought a second chair. While it functions well, it came damaged with huge chips out of the walnut veneer. I personally don't care about how it looks because it's being used for utility purposes. I would return this second one immediately otherwise if it wasn't such a hassle.

If, after assembling, the stool won't go up or down, disassemble it and look too see if the top column has a black plug in it (see pic). If so, you'll need to remove the plug (with considerable force). The plug actually has "Please remove cap before assembly" stamped on it (but it's very hard to read). That cap may instead be on top of the piston with text in red that states "Please pdll out the sheath before suing" (looks like a bad translation from Chinese). I discovered this issue because I had bought two stools. The first had the plug stuck in the top column. In that I couldn't figure out why the stool wouldn't go up or down, I decided to assemble the second stool and discovered that in the 2nd stool, the plug was NOT in the top column but was on top of the piston. I removed it from the piston and finished the assembly on the 2nd stool and it worked properly. I then removed the plug that was stuck in the top column of the 1st stool, and the 1st stool now works!

Gestern angekommen, in 5 Minuten aufgebaut und funktionstüchtig. Qualität ist natürlich nicht auf dem allerhöchsten Niveau aber für den Preis absolut angemessen. Sehr schönes Design, über Langlebigkeit werden wir noch berichten müssen. Macht aber einen sehr stabilen Eindruck.

Gorgeous high quality chair, my only complaint is the little metal ring they provide to cap the base looks and feels SO cheap. Literally like a child's toy. I opted to not install that particular piece and luckily everything still looks great. UPDATE: Few weeks later, paint is chipping away.

Love the chairs. They do chip when bumped against our countertop but really comfortable to sit in and the style exceeds the cost

they are really nice bar stools, except they arrive with scratches on their base plate and suppliers tel no is not valid, hence I have no way of replacing the scratchi bace plates.
