Securekey Re-Key Kit

What is not mentioned in the description is that the second blue reset key is actually a blank. Since I still have the original blue reset key of my existing lock, this second reset key becomes a bonus. For those who have lost their original reset key, you can use this blank to duplicate your existing key since otherwise you will not be able to rekey your Schlage Secure lock.

Worked just as described, and certainly a lot easier than swapping out the entire lock mechanism. It is worth noting that you will need the original "blue" key that came with your Securekey lock! You can have a blank cut if you no longer possess this item.

These rekey kits provide support for the discontinued Schlage Securekey system.While the lock system itself has some issues, the rekey kits work very well.

I'v used this product again and again for my rental units. It's reliable, easy to use, and well-accepted by tenants.

Just what I needed since Schlage was forced to drop this method of instant rekey.

Schlage no longer makes with product or the locks it is used for. Amazon was one of the few places I could find one at a fair price.
