The "except" is because the birds are no longer nesting so I can't know yet if they will work. As for the product and its installation, I am very pleased. My nesting area is on my front porch, above my front door and two front windows. The problem is with sparrows. The product is plastic and surprisingly has very sharp points. I got the clear product. One box has a lot of strips. It is very easy to shorten lengthwise and very easy to cut it to a narrower size with a pair of regular scissors. The adhesive strips are very sticky. I was able to cover the gap between the frame of the door and windows and the house. You can hardly see them. So far I am very pleased; but, next spring will be the test.

These are worthless. Every year we have multiple nests on our back porch. The birds poop everywhere and even swoop down at me and my kids. I bought these hoping to put an end to that so we can enjoy our back porch again. No such luck. Installed these and the birds don’t even seem phased. They perch directly on top of them comfortably. Update: the birds have incorporated the spikes into the structure of their nests. These spikes are worthless.

Squirrel was driving me and my dog nuts! The evil rodent seemed to love taunting my dog and stealing the fruit off my trees. Well my trees have lots of fruit, and the squirrel is not happy, which makes me very happy! The strips are very easy to apply using the provided glue tabs. The amount of glue tabs was adequate. They stuck well to the stucco, using one glue tab on each end. I had enough in one box to cover the length of my patio area. They are see through plastic, so you don’t even notice them being there. I water my patio plants copiously and the glue has stood up to water and summer heat so far! Very happy to say this WORKS!

Its a good product, but you really have to know how to use it. Birds wont sit on it, however; they can find the way around it..

These really have done the job! I tried many other methods but none have worked as well as these do! I highly recommend this product!

Easy to install. We've had something chewing on the garage door trim pretty much every night for the past few weeks. We've added peppers/hot sauce and it helps some nights, not all. So far these strips have stopped the chewing. It's been a big relief. We'll see how these hold up with rain and longterm. As of now, we are pleased with the strips. There are plenty in the box to replace the current ones, if need be.

They dont work. Birds still landed on the mailbox. The reason i know is there was bird crap in the center of spikes.. even with two rows on top.
