I just purchased these and need to know when once 'opened' how long is one of the boards sticky? Forever, or do they dry up and get hard after a time?
The release paper won't peel off the trap. Is there some way to peel it off?
What is the size of the sticky area on each trap?
will it catch large lizards?

Clean, Effective, Poison Free Pests Control at a Great Value…

These Catchmaster Max-Catch Glue Traps work very well for us. Living in southern United States, we have lot of roaches and other pests live in and around the house. These glue traps absolutely help keeping them under control without having to spray any poisonous chemicals inside my house which is the main reason I use these, and I only purchase the unscented ones. This is the 3rd time I purchased these in the last 3-4 years, and I regret that I didn’t buy the 72 pack the first time. For just $10 more, you get double the qty, which makes an already great value even better. The 36 pack lasted me over a year, and I use them very generously. You can use them fold into the box as how they designed, or half folded (90 degree just one fold) can be left in the back corner of behind the fridge/washer, where box shape maybe harder to fit. The card board backing is pretty sturdy, and last a long time without drying out. I also use a trick to catch roaches by leaving the trap flat open on top of kitchen counter with a small piece of banana in the center of the trap. Roaches will try to get to the banana, but will be glued to the board before getting there. Can’t comment on how well rats can fit into these traps if folded into a box, but I have no doubt about the glue will hold the rat if it gets on board. One CAUTION to use these, because the glue is so sticky, if you have pets or young children living in the house, theses traps need to be placed carefully at places where your pets and kids won’t accidentally step into. So just be careful with that!

20!!!

We caught 20 mice in just one week using these sticky traps. It was bad enough that my wife wanted to sell the house 😂 Thankfully, these traps helped us take back control. At first, I saw a few mice walk over the traps without sticking, but after sitting out for a bit, they started doing their job.The hardest part, honestly, isn’t catching them—it’s what comes next. Sticky traps don’t always kill instantly, so you’ll need to be ready to deal with that part. My (unofficial) weapon of choice ended up being my son’s BB gun. Not fun, but necessary. If you’re dealing with a serious infestation, these work. Just go in knowing what you’re signing up for.

Love these!!!

These work GREAT! The bugs did a slow death, but of they are species you don’t care about it’s ok. Sadly, one of mine caught a small lizard. There’s really no good way to get anything off these. I accidentally flipped one over and had a heck of a time peeling it off the concrete floor in my garage. They are easy to use & I like the border that is wide enough to grab it without sticking yourself to it. Very happy I bought these!

Dont touch the glue

These things stick to EVERYTHING. Dont touch the glue unless you want to hold on to it for a while. Versatile because you can lay them flat for larger pests or make the box and slide them into smaller areas as a tunnel with some bait inside.

Seems cruel, but can't argue with results!

A weather strip on our garage broke in the corner, and we didn't notice it. Well, apparently, around the same time, the drought in the Midwest also made mice come through our area in droves. We started off using the snap traps, because we wanted to be "humane", but then the little critters got wise and stopped getting caught in them. These traps were a saving grace! They are VERY sticky, and we haven't had a single one get caught and then get away.My husband put them in a spot where we were pretty sure they were coming in (directly above our garage, where an internet cable runs through the floor of our second story). They were climbing the walls like Spider-Man, apparently. We were catching them one right after the other! I thought it would never end, but it has. After installing a new weather strip, we haven't seen one in probably around a week. Now, I'm not going to lie to ya, it's a grizzly matter: this WILL catch them, but you have to..."dispatch" them yourself. We used a 5 gallon bucket of water to...end their existence. I also suggest using an N95 mask and gloves when dealing with them, because the white-footed and deer variety are known to carry Hantaviruses, lymphatic bacteria, and other contagious pathogens in their urine and feces, and they WILL move around - wafting bacteria and viruses into the air! If you're immunocompromised, it could spell disaster for your health, so I DEFINITELY recommend an N95 for folks who have lung issues and/or poor immune systems, smokers, etc, and anyone who just doesn't want to risk catching a pulmonary or hemorrhagelic disease. Don't take risks with your health. That said, if you want the job done fast (so that they don't have time to breed and make more), these are great for that reason. Also, another thing to note, we have small children, and small children have questions and are curious. I do NOT recommend putting these traps down anywhere little hands and little eyes can touch or see them. It's something we personally didn't think about until it was too late, because our cat picked one up and dropped it on our 3-year-old's blanket, and it BIT HER! A tetanus shot, antibiotic prescription, and ER visit later, and we sent our kids to Auntie's and Grandma's while we de-cluttered and hunted the little nuisances. Luckily, she seems to be okay - despite the ED physician refusing to give her the rabies vaccine and immunoglobulin (they didn't even test the subject that bit her, and we took it with us!) So, again, don't take any chances. These have been literal lifesavers. They are pretty big, you can fold them into a tunnel, of sorts, or link them together to ENSURE that nothing is able to move from one area to the next (we found this to be the best use of the linking capabilities: putting them across a threshold or along corners near the baseboards). You get quite a few in each pack, as well, so you don't end up "wasting" them. We also bought the Tomcat variety, but these seemed to work better and we caught more with them (only caught two with the TC variety - OVER 20 with these).Despite not having seen any for a week or so, we're keeping these on our subscribe list and swapping them out every week or so to make sure it never gets like it was! We also got the peanut butter scented ones, but neither of us detected a scent at all. That said, SOMETHING was drawing them to the traps. I hope the formula never changes, because these are the absolute BEST mouse traps.

Super Sticky and Convenient

I bought an old rough house in rural east Texas which is overrun with bugs and varmints. These glue pads nuisances under control, catching bugs, mice, rats, and unfortunately even a snake. These glue pads are simple to use, just peel of the wax paper and put them down where you need them. Keep in mind you do not want to put these out in the open around kids and pets. (Install them in a glue trap encloser if you have pets or kids.)

Chunks of mouse

I don’t know how I feel about these traps.. it got a mouse but the mouse. However it fought for its life and chunks of the mouse are left on the trap. The odd thing about it is, I can’t find the rest of the mouse. They work unless you have a fighter…

Mouse problem

10/10, highly recommended. I originally bought these for a mouse problem I’ve been having. These traps are amazing, so far I’ve caught most of them. Unfortunately they also catch other critters too. I placed them inside, and under my home. It’s caught spiders, mice, other insects, and unfortunately a few lizards. Only downside is you have to be willing to bludgeon the rodents you catch, or try to release them.
