These coasters fit on 1" walker tubing perfectly and easily. They glide smoothly and easily and last much longer than traditional "ski" type feet.

Do they scratch hard wood floors?

Yes, unfortunately I believe they do. When we moved to our new house with plank flooring I noticed tiny little scratches on the floors where my grandma walks with her walker. I’m going to try the chair socks like the user below recommended, because I love these things. They last forever and are so easy to put on and take off.

What are these walket coasters made of

I'm not sure. Could be plastic, resin, nylon or some other type of man-made material. They are solid and glide smoothly. I'm very satisfied.
