Fit and finish is damn good. Worked perfectly.

The valve on my old portable air tank wasn’t holding pressure. So instead of buying a new tank, I saw this replacement valve. It was a perfect fit and looked to be made better than the original. All I needed to do was take the gauge off the old valve and attach it and the air hose to this new valve. Filled the tank to 100 psi and it’s holding air again now. A quick, easy and cheap fix! I highly recommend it!

Works as designed.

Bought this Hromee brand after the competitor brand kit I bought (not naming but the initials are PT) leaked at every connection no matter how much PTFE tape or how tight. Returned and reordered. On a whim also bought the separate Hromee brand manifold only part. Good thing I did. Did a hand tight dry run and the manifold in the kit screwed into the 1/2” NPT air tank connection leaving only 3 threads exposed, just like the leaky PT competitor manifold had. Tried the extra Hromee manifold I bought and this same part, same brand, had SIX threads left showing. Used this one, with the other kit parts, and all sealed well. 24 hour test with 100# in the tank had no psi loss and no bubbles with Snoop leak detector on all connections. Conclusion then is the Hromee is good if you get a good manifold! Inconsistent quality control on the threaded areas. I lucked out because I bought extra.I DID use good quality PTFE tape made for gasses (yellow) on all connections for both the good and the found out bad parts, so the comparisons are valid.

Seems like a very well built part and it worked as intended and looks pretty good as well.

My air tank was decent quality but came with a valve body made of plastic. Predictably it eventually cracked so the tank doesn't hold air. This replacement kit is made out of substantial parts and will give years of service. as of this writing I can't report on the accuracy of the pressure gauge. I'll note here at a later date if it tests out to be inaccurate.
