Edit: I returned the first unit, and got a second unit, because my first unit's left analog joystick wasn't working properly.The second unit was working even worse.I returned both units, and got a totally different brand and model!Original review below:First of all, what really bugged me was that it doesn't hold a cellphone in a case.My cellphone is very thin, but with the case it's exactly 0.5" thick (approx 15mm), and the clip won't hold any device this tick.Second, the software is an overlay software, that I don't know or trust (especially with Russia and China being blamed for spying on people, I don't know if this app is doing the same).But one thing you can be sure of,For whatever reason, the developers didn't allow you to disable or turn off the app.After a nice game, the app remains loaded.Third, they promised on the box, that it wouldn't need any app. But over bluetooth, the controls aren't working (just the left analog stick works with Citra). For the rest, you'll need the app to assign the remaining of the buttons.Fourth there'll always be an app icon on the screen when gaming.This is annoying!It does support Bluetooth, has a wireless dongle inside for PC or laptop, and supports X-Box social on Windows 10.However, the instructions aren't clear on how to make it work with Windows.It says 'L1 + Home', but they don't indicate what L1 is.It's the left top button closest to the user. Press and hold both.Also, the analog joystick isn't configured as a mouse, nor do any other buttons work inside windows (like enter, back, mouse directions,... No replacement for a mouse or keyboard.I found it overall lacking, especially the integration with Windows and Android aren't up to par with a professional product.The product feels ok, sturdy. I'm just worried about the amount of force the cellphone holder is clamping down on the phone, is quite high.The buttons feel good, the analog sticks have a clicky 'enter' button (when pressing down on them).For some reason, I wasn't able to assign the 'Start' and 'Select' buttons, so I used the analog stick press click for that.I mean, you could make it work, and hardware wise it's passable.But software wise, this joystick can use a lot of improvements!Edit: I've also recently noticed, that the left analog joystick, is malfunctioning in the right quadrant (where it doesn't work in the normal circle, but works more like a 4 way D-PAD). I think my unit is defective.Returning it!

I’ve been playing with this non stop this week and the battery is amazing! My games are all in the iPad and I don’t like to play with the touch screen there because it’s too big and not practical. With this is awesome, super easy and has no bugs. To connect is easy and I had no problem with compatibility (tried with my phone too and it works great). It’s wireless so you can play not too close to the screen. Tested with a few games and all work great. Amazing price/benefit.

A total disaster, a sad waste of potential. It does not connect as a real controller, instead it connect directly to your screen. When you try to remap the button, you could only move the corresponding "area" from your screen. This is a phone game controller, a disgrace to any emulator games including PSP, DS, GBA on phone, since somehow you can't remap "start" and "select" button, and you have to keep the floating virtual keypad on screen to make this controller in use.

I have an android smart t.v. and it does not work correctly with any of the games on there. No matter which ones I download. Even the ones it says specifically that It works for there is always some issue with the functionality of it and you can't use it. For instance: you will be able to walk around and look but you can't shoot, or you can't choose a certain hit the advance button when there's a convo between the game and the player so your just stuck there. I've tried using the t.v. controller and the game controller hoping i could just use a combo of the 2 to fix the situation but no. The only reason I bought it was so my son could play the games on the t.v. and he can't even do that.

I love this controller. I use it to play Genshin Impact. It was somewhat annoying to set up and it doesn't control all aspects of the game like subscreens, but the important movements for gameplay are there. In order to play you first have to download an app to set the buttons for the different movements that you want, but then it is saved and you never have to do it again. I've never run out of battery when I'm playing and I play for a long time. The controller also feels very sturdy and well made when your are holding it.

I bought this with the expectations of connecting to my HD Fire 10. However, my device was able to pair to the controller but was unable to play any games on it. With that being said I connected to my android phone played games with no problem and hours later went back to play a game and it failed to move the character in the games such as Sonic, NOVA etc. Will return

firstly looks great and feels okay fits my galaxy s10+ fine, but.. i noticed fairly quickly that it either supports very few games or just doesn't work at all, it won't register as a controller for some games and others it doesnt work at all or barley functions, pubg for example i can only look around but nothing else registers, I'd recommend paying 60 for the xbox one Bluetooth controller buying a phone clip for it and save yourself the time and money this was a regretful purchase, also i should note it has the same issue for pc

This controller works with the v3 app as described, but that's about it.I bought this because I expected it too work similarly to the way a PS4 controller works when paired to my Android device, but it doesn't show up as a controller in any of the apps I've successfully used other controllers with. It's almost as if the buttons defaults are incorrectly mapped or something. But I guess you get what you pay for.
