Sounds Great & Is Easy to Use!
I bought this to do vlogs with my camera and I was able to get the audio dialed in to the correct volume within 10 minutes. The added wind shield (dead cat) was a blessing since I live in Wyoming and the wind never stops. So having that has made being able to film outside so much easier. It is rather long so unless your lens is at least a few inches long it might be in frame. Other than that I would highly recommend!

HORRENDOUS quality with your camera and support from rode team
I have bought rode products in the past they are all great. They sound great and make my audio game a whole other level.With that being said, the rode videomic NTG is the worst mic ive ever used. It has constant static and humming no matter what when you use the aux chord with your camera.Even the rode support team told me its normal to have a static hissing sound. IT IS NOT NORMAL. Buy this mic if you wish to have a constant hissing sound with your camera.I am so disappointed in this mic, and the rode team. It sound so bad and the team has done nothing other than to tell me to return it through amazon in which my 30 days are up. I dont care about getting my money back at this point since ive already spent so much on wires, and external recorders to try and fix the damn mic.Please save yourself and dont get this mic. Waste or money, time, and energy.

The mic died after a few uses and couldn't get support on it, not happy with such a bad product.

Great little mic
I've tried a LOT of mics from Deity, to Sennheiser and this is a great little mic. It's not as good as my MKH-416, but it's not really trying to be. It's infinitely better than the Deity D3 Pro, especially if you use Black Magic cameras.
