I needed to upgrade my sound for portable presentations. I don't want to haul expensive stuff around. Samson makes good stuff that does not break the bank. Also, the Q2U is like a swiss army knife of products with USB and XLR connections! The biggest surprise was the quality in USB! Without any processing from an interface or a mixer. When I ran it thru an interface, this Q2U competes with more expensive gear. This combo came with 2 stands, a desk stand, and a Microphone Arm - and this all works good. I dont have anything negative at this price point, if you want something better, you need to spend more bucks.!

A good all-in-one package for a home studio style set up. The microphone has very good sound- it is a good brand and high quality entry model microphone that is highly regarded across the board by users and reviewers. The USB jack allows you to plug straight into your pc or laptop. The rest of the set up feels a little more basic, but it does the job it's meant to do and I don't have any complaints. The microphone arm is still in the same position I set it up in when I first bought it and hasn't slunk or dipped over the course of 4-5 months.

I have this mic hooked up to a USB hub that swaps between my gaming PC and my work laptop. It works great and sound quality is awesome for both Streaming/Game Chat and for meetings. It can pick up a lot of background noise sometimes, but it can be tweaked to be perfect. The stand is great and can be mounted to multiple things. It's easily adjustable as well. Would recommend this mic for anyone looking for an upgrade for gaming/streaming/work.

Much better recorded audio on this microphone than my headset. I don't have a lot of experience with podcasts but this mic seems like it would do a good job. Noise canceling is real good. I would recommend this mic for anyone creating videos or podcasts at their computer. Obviously it would be cumbersome to use on the go.

This microphone setup is great. Brand new podcaster and I needed something that wouldn't break the bank and yet still produce good quality. This definitely fits the bill. Boom stand is tight and can be positioned anyway. Microphone is both USB and XLR, so it is very versatile. Would definitely recommend.

Great mic for the price. Easy set up

I bought about two of these for my podcast and it sounds great. not looking forward to replacing this anytime soon
