Do not...I repeat...do not listen to any bad reviews on this product! I am beyond happy with this purchase. This is what I love about this lamp:1. Good sturdy quality2. Came perfectly intact...well packaged and no damage3. Took 2 minutes to put together4. Goes perfectly with My MCM decor5. Not cheap looking6. Excellent price for such a quality product7. Arrived quickly8. Looks so pretty9. Gives off a warm glow...it is not a bright light for working but I can read by it10. I used a 60 watt bulb11. The cord is not the standard rubber one, it is a soft cloth material, I really like it and adds to the overall beautiful look and quality...this is a nice touch they put into this product . It does not bother me that the cord hangs down in the back but if you don't like that, you can affix it to the wood with a brown color zip tie12. The shade is a beautiful woven lookI could go on and on about this lamp. Buy it...you will not regret it!

I wanted a lamp that was different and this fit the bill. It has straight, clean lines that fit in with almost any design style (modern, transitional, modern farmhouse, contemporary) ... I only gave four stars for sturdiness because it is quite light-weight but, that having been said, I don't want a heavy lamp that will hurt a small dog or damage my floor if it were to fall. I love it!

As soon as we inserted the supplied screws into the slats, the slats fell apart. We contacted Adesso, but they insisted we go through Amazon for a return or refund. I don't really understand this, given that their product turned out to be cheap and defective.

Lamp was easy and quick to assemble. My parts did not come with letters attached so in case yours is similar, the half leg that gives you a lip when you assemble (also has a little felt attached) goes at the top per the picture. My only complaint is that it's a little wobbly - I might get some felt or rubber feet for the bottom to make it a little more stable. But for the price - wow - very nice.

It’s nice, but like maybe $60 nice. The legs are two pieces. They don’t line up flush at the top, middle and bottom. Also wish the cord was through one of the legs.

It looks perfect where I needed it and puts out just the right lighting.

I read earlier reviews that complained of problems with the assembly not fitting well, but I liked the looks of the lamp so I ordered it anyway. I had the same issues with the bolts and holes not matching up. One couldn't be attached, so I had to create an insert to stabilize it. But the lamp is attractive when finished and I am keeping it. The other thing I didn't like is the way the cord dangles from the middle of the socket. The pictures don't even show the cord. I plan to secure it to the back of one of the sides so it is less noticeable. Be sure you look at the lamp shade size. It was much bigger than I was expecting, but still fits in the area I planned for it.

We have a room full of Danish modern furniture, so I went looking for buffet lamps that fit the style. Most were either too tall for my liking or took up too much foot space. I found this lamp and thought it would be perfect. I purchased two, one for each end of the buffet. I am very pleased with the look and quality of these lamps. The linen shades and walnut finish are a perfect match for our style, and the lighting is perfect on its own or teamed with the chandelier for dinners.
