I got this frame for a painting that I made sometime back I was looking for a frame that would complement the painting that had a classic European theme and I was very happy with the results my painting was on a pre stretched 16x20 canvas and fitted perfectly with this frame I installed the painting with the clips that came with the frame. This frame is definitely worth the money and beats going to a Michael's where you would spend a lot more for a framing job or even just to buy frames from their stock. The color of this frame is gold but it is a little bit darker and gives it a somewhat antique look for my painting it suits it well .

Frame is sturdy but not overly-heavy. Does not have backing or glass. However, I am using for a painting, so this is not a problem. Something to be aware of though, if you need the glass. Comes with hardware for hanging in a little bag inside the box, so you can decide if you want to hang it portrait or landscape.Gold coloring very nice! Looks a bit distressed, and gives the feeling of the frame being older than it is. Overall very pleased!

This is a beautiful frame. Frame and hanging hardware were packed extremely well and arrived quickly. It was easy to add the painting to this frame and it looks great on a dark wall. The quality of the frame was surprisingly good and the antique gold color didn't look cheap. Originally, I was going to metal leaf it myself but when it arrived I liked how it looked as is. Overall, I am very happy with the frame and I highly recommend it for the right painting.

I ordered a museum gothic frame for a presentation certificate to someone whose made a great contribution to architectural historic preservation. It arrived well packed and timely. The quality is top-tier. I recommend this item to anyone. Bottom line, I'm very pleased with this frame.

Bought frame for a floral paint by number which really contributed to it's overall appearance. I haven't seen such great packaging in years. It is 'museum quality' packaging, down to corner protectors. The frame looks like a much more expensive frame then what it cost. I will be buying more for future paintings.

These are some beautiful frames. They came with a lot of accessories to hang it on the wall. The frame is so nice I bought two and both came in great condition filled with accessories.

I bought 2 when the price was half the cost. So glad I did - I bought a piece of non glare plastic to fit as I put puzzles in the frames and gave them as gifts. Would be beautiful with a canvas as well which there would be no need for glass/plastic.

I don’t normally write reviews, but wow! This frame is beautiful!! I bought it to frame a 11 x 14 oil painting on board canvas, and it turned out so nice! The frame is expensive-looking, very high-quality, and just overall a wonderful piece to dress up a picture or painting.
