WORKED LIKE A CHARM ON AMERICAN STANDARD CHAMPION 3
Toilet had a slow, steady leak. I first tried the Korky flush valve seal for the AS Champion 3 and the leak became must worse. Total failure. Purchased the Fluidmaster 510K-001-P10 and the leak immediately stopped. Worth the price and easy to install.

Leaked worse than the one it replaced, and caused hard flushing
I removed the old red rubber seal from my Champion 3 flush valve, and installed this new yellow silicone rubber seal in the grove where the red seal had been.The new yellow silicone seal had two problems:1. When the flush valve "bottomed" in the seat, the valve unit was very difficult to remove. This made flushing difficult. Twice as much force was required on the flush handle to open the valve.2. The yellow seal frequently "wrinkled" and escaped the grove on the flush valve, resulting in leaks and causing the toilet to "run" constantly.I ordered a regular red rubber replacement and the yellow silicon replacement will go in the trash.
