My daughter is keen to learn macrame so this looked perfect as part of her Christmas present.Firstly I was disappointed that the contents were just put in a plastic bag so don’t look very nice as a gift.Secondly and more importantly there are absolutely no instructions whatsoever. Stupidly I thought the kit would include directions on how to make the items shown.I appreciate that there a pre many online resources for macrame but a booklet would have been nice.

I got this because I'm obsessed with an Anthropologie lampshade and really wanted to try to recreate it rather than pay their insane prices. This bundle seemed quite good value for money and I'm really pleased with it. I probably won't be using some of the extras that came with the cord on my lampshade but they're really nice quality and I have a couple of other projects planned for them already. The macrame cord is just as expected, the thickness is perfect for my project and it feels really good quality. It frays really nicely which is something I wanted for my project and sometimes you can get cord that doesn't fray as you'd expect. I will probably need some more to complete my project as I underestimated how much cord I needed but if you're not going crazy like I am you should have plenty to work with.

Great starter kit for beginners, instructions of how to get guide comes later than the arrival of package. Looking forward to starting some projects, thank you.

Bought to give to my grand-daughter as a birthday gift. She loves it.

Kit is fine but the pictures are pretty misleading - don’t expect a guide or instructions with the kit, it’s just the string, beads etc in a plastic ziplock baggy. Not a starter kit so much as a few bits and bobs that you could put together yourself without much effort.To be fair the contents (or lack thereof) is detailed in the written description but like many others here I’d based my purchase on the assumption that the photos were illustrative of the pack contents.

I got this for my wife that wanted to try the make it yourself kits for hanging baskets. I thought if she csnt do this beginners one then there is no hope. She has started but not yet finished but it's getting there. It's made of decent materials and it's more of a puzzle as no instructions come with it. Possibly so you can make it unique. Well we shall see. Will update with the finished product when its done

Received the kit today, a little bit disappointed as I purchased this thinking it was a “kit for beginners” and would include everything to get started, however even though there are pictures of projects that you can make there are no instructions for anything. Will google some ideas and instructions myself however the quality of the items in the kit seem of very good quality.
