New starter is junk detective.
I installed the starter on my golf cart. After much work trying to locate the problem. Took it to a repair garage where they tested the new starter and found it was defective. Really disappointed to discover this new starter was defective.

Not impressed with product or cust service
Bought a starter and it was defective, got a replacement and it lasted maybe 5 min. Melted wiring harness and ended up costing me over $900 at shop to get fixed. Sent in the return and now the date for my refund has changed 3 times. Not sure what the delay is because you received the starter 2 days after I dropped it at UPS.

Holy Cow, I ordered this starter on a Wednesday and wasn’t supposed to be delivered until the following Monday but showed up early Friday morning! Great Job and starter worked perfectly

Seems to be a common problem for it to fail
I bought this part last may, and installed it. It worked for about a month before the golf cart stopped working. I never thought to check this part again because I had JUST replaced it. Well, camp season ended so I decided I’d deal with it this year. After working on this thing for months and not being able to find a problem I took it to a shop. It’s shot, the thing worked for maybe a month. Since it’s over a year later I imagine I won’t get a refund. But after reading the other reviews I can see this is a common issue. Kicking myself for not reading the reviews first.Seller, if you see this and are interested in making it right I’d be happy to change my review based on the customer service. But I’m not expecting much. Guess I’m out $160

Not sure
First one sent wouldn’t crank up on it’s own. Had to manually crank the pulley and it would then fire up. Currently awaiting on our replacement.

Worked first time
One day I parked my cart, grabbed something and got back in .... nothing. Ended up replacing the motor and as soon as I hool=ked the new one up, we were off to the races. This motor has worked as expected so far.
