A great and simple addition to any new shower install. Easy to use and really takes to install to a level of professionalism.

Costly for what it is, a Foam Box. But all Kurdi products earned their reputation and even though the alcove is expensive, it is a lot faster than making a Waterproof box by hand. Too bad the Kurdi 12x12 is so hard to find.

Works as advertised. Makes lining the niche up with the tile fairly easy. Also makes waterproofing easier than a traditional niche that is framed with wood and concrete board.

The shelf that comes with this unit is way too thick so we used a piece of tile to divide it. Otherwise, it's a great product and looks nice in the shower.

The product came in good condition- no dents or disfiguration. I was surprised at how light this is, it feels like it weighs ounces. The middle part is moveable, which is great because the shampoo and conditioner bottles we usually purchase are 12" tall, so I'm glad that we are able to accommodate that. We recently did a shower remodel and our contractor is glad that we purchased this because even though he said it's not necessary, it does make the job easier and faster. He also mentioned that this is a good brand. This is obvious, but one thing to note is that it gets smaller once you lay tile on it.Overall, we are so pleased with the results, definitely recommend!

For the 12”x20” niche, the framing dimensions are 13”x21” (photo attached). I was looking for this measurement but couldn’t find it easily, so I could begin framing before delivery. Hopefully this is helpful for someone.

Can’t ever go wrong with Schlutter. I’ve used these many times! Very sturdy and easy to install. The size is always perfect. Looks great after tiling.

This is my go-to shelf from schluter during any bathroom renovation. Pictured in both vertical and horizontal application. The divider piece is a separate unit that can be removed or placed anywhere you’d like (great for if you use the jumbo shampoo bottles with the pump).My suggestion is to have this on hand when framing your shower walls, that way it can be framed specific to its size.Works seamlessly with all other schluter products.They can be dressed up or dressed down, feeling on your style preferenceHave purchased about 50 of these in my life and will purchase more.
