Did not work
Attempted to put this in a new Gigabyte TRX40 Xtreme motherboard with a Ryzen 3960x CPU. The Gigabyte software would not recognize the drive cards, and could not create the promised fast synthetic RAID array. I tried both 16x16 slots, but the brand new 4 day old motherboard saw it as a 4x4 device.Tried to contact Gigabyte support, but they insisted that if it did not have Aorus drives, it might not work. Well, that model and the serial number I supplied was for a board and SSDs premounted all from Gigabyte. So got no help from service, and no new drivers are available.First time in about 15 years I have not used an Asus board, and I am sorry already. Can't recommend either the board or the brand. Board did not work in a system with 4 other Aorus Gen 4 SSDs, a Gigabyte 5700 XT video card and even a Gigabyte AIO water cooler.

Didn't work for me either.
I have a Asus ROG Strix TRX40 Gaming-E board and it does not work. I can see one of the disks in SSD Toolbox and Windows. The Aorus Storage Manager does not see the card. Opened a ticket 3 days ago with their support and no response yet. Tried in 2 slots. Both confirmed working slots. They don't have any information on their amazon page that it only support certain motherboard. Definitely false advertising.
