TRASH
DON'T waste your money! (Did you notice that I can spell the correct usage of WASTE??) I've seen more usable information on the inside jacket cover of some books than in the entire FIFTEEN pages of this piece of trash. The author should be ashamed for putting his name on this. It's so small it's not even useful enough to start a fire with, and I could have learned more about Arduino by taking this six bucks and buying some geek a double mocha non-fat no-whip latte at StarDucks.

Finally a great guide!
Recently started learning coding. Trying to pick up C in Arduino but it is difficult to find a comprehensible and easy to follow guide for beginners. Came across this on Amazon and feel lucky that I downloaded it. The instructions are clear and concise and makes a seemingly difficult topic look more easily comprehensible. It is now time to open up my laptop and follow this book more closely! Great read for anyone serious about coding.

Sorry, Can't recommend...
I am sorry, but cannot recommend this book to buy. It is too, basic and really not worth the money... it is not even worth downloading it for free and spending the time reading it.... this info is available in thousands of videos on YouTube and delivered in less than 5 minutes...

This book is more like a pamphlet.
I usually don't give reviews but this book left me hanging - especially since I actually purchased a paperback version. Granted, it was only about $6 but they say you get what you pay for. This time I felt l got less than I paid for. Why?First, it's not a book IMHO. It's more like a pamphlet. It's short - it took me about an hour to go thru. There are simple grammer errors. I am an electronics engineer. While I have little programming experience - I did a bit in college. The explanation of the programing language was very incomplete for a 'Beginner's book. Additionally, there should be at least a few pictures and diagrams for clarification. There were none. Several of the explanations were very incomplete. Like I said, I am an electronics engineer. The explanation of electronics 'parts' were very incomplete and left me wondering what the author was talking about. I feel like I could have gotten better information just 'surfing' the net. There is my two cents worth.

Excellent book for beginner's on the micro-controller ARDUINO
After researching several micro-controllers for some time now, I decided to use the ARDUINO mainly because it is open source. This gives me the advantage of being able to tweak the software as I see fit. In comparison, it is one of the best available in the open-source market but needs to be mastered first. That's where this book comes in. It will teach you everything you need to know to effectively use this controller. It is by far the best beginner's guide for the ARDUINO. I highly recommend it.

I find the book an easy read especially for the beginners of Arduino like me
I find the book an easy read especially for the beginners of Arduino like me. I have a bit of experience in programming but have no idea of Arduino. The book suggested two Arduino models which are ideal for beginners: Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega. To have a grasp of Arduino, one must learn first the hardware and the software aspects. The book listed some troubleshooting and fixing tips on software and hardware level. It also listed some problems such as cannot load programs on Arduino and the possible solution for it.The book also features a bonus lesson of Windows 10 which is far better than its predecessor, Windows 8. The book gives an introduction of this specific operating system. It's good to have this book as my guide also in familiarizing Windows 10.

Waste of Time and Money
The English is about what one would expect from an auto-translator. The content is at about the depth of an infomercial. He is very condescending in tone. I tolerated all of this and then when I finally got to the examples of sketches, it had titles underlined as if I could click on a book! He could have at least printed the code. This is a poorly edited bunch of stuff off of a web page dumped into a book of no value.

It may seem so funny that I just learned all of this now but ...
I have a bit of experience in programming but have no idea of Arduino. The book suggested two Arduino models which are ideal for beginners: Arduino Uno and Arduino Mega. To have a grasp of Arduino, one must learn first the hardware and the software aspects.Through this book, I learned a lot about hardware and software uses of this Arduino and also how to trouble shoot. It may seem so funny that I just learned all of this now but it’s true. I was really afraid to make experimenting because it may damage and lost everything. But I have to take the risk, to save time and have the best quality at work. Thanks..
