My ophthalmologist suggested strongly that I take a supplement for my eyes because I have the beginning stage of macular degeneration. I’m 58 and my father had advanced macular degeneration when he passed away several years ag at age 78. I’ve tried various vitamins over the past few years, but many times forget to take them or just don’t want to take them because I find some pills difficult to swallow. With the Ocuvite Eye Health Gummies I seem to have no problem with these 2 issues. They taste great, are easy to take and I have had absolutely no side effects. Another benefit that I did not expect is that it seems to be helping with a dry eye issue I’ve been having the last couple of years. I’ve been taking the Ocuvite Eye Gummies for several months and after a couple months I realized I was not needing to use eye drops as frequently as I had in the past. I first bought Ocuvite Eye Gummies at a local pharmacy. When I went back looking for them they were not in stock. Of course I checked Amazon (I use it 2-3 times a week anymore) and found that they were available and MUCH cheaper than when I had bought them locally. In addition, this is a product from Bausch & Lomb an established company that specializes in eye care and eye care products. Although vitamins such as Ocuvite Eye Health do not prevent macular degeneration it has been proven to slow the progression and vision loss. By taking eye vitamins I hope to maintain and slow the degeneration in my eyes. The USDA has approved a telescopic implant designed to improve vision of age related macular degeneration. Hopefully this will soon be available and affordable for all those suffering from this condition.

The Ocuvite Gummies were delivered via the U. S. Post Office on July 15, 2024. Having been in transit for two days the bottle of gummy vitamins were undoubtedly exposed to the ambient temperatures all along the boxes route. On the day of delivery the box was placed inside our metal mailbox when combined with the 104 degree temperature melted the Gummies into a solid mass inside the bottle. I don't know who to blame the most but rather I'll say it was a joint responsibility. Amazon should have used an alternant carrier or give delivery instructions to the Post Office concerning the handling of the product and the Post Office should have placed the box on our front porch as they normally do instead of putting it in the mailbox. To review the product, it's an excellent product and highly recommended by our eye specialist. Ocuvite by Bosh and Lomb is a daily vitamin developed especially for the eyes. Yes, I can highly recommend it to anyone regardless of age.

For those who need these vitamins and herbs for eye health, this is the best way to get those daily needs met. I tried the pills and they upset my stomach. I tried with food and still had issues. I tried another variety of gummy eye vitamins and loved them but they no longer are available. However, these would definitely be my first choice and I am continuing to buy even after a price increase. Taste is great, easy to chew and honestly could eat them as candy!

These taste horrible and are IMPOSSIBLE to chew. I threw them away.
