Ok, I’m a 59 year old man with a certain fetish for glow in the dark items. I’d gotten one of my kids a glow in the dark magicians cape years ago, and now that she’s a teenager I thought she might like this throw for her bed. Alas, she has not inherited my fondness for soft green glows. So I win by default!I’m six feet tall, so this doesn’t cover my whole body....but give me a blanket pin and it would make a swell cape! When I’m in my recliner it will cover me from chest down, though. Both sides are soft, but I saw one reviewer comment that the stars are a rougher surface than the rest of the throw. I’ve concluded that’s the outside of the blanket...the other side has soft stars, plus you can see the stars glow better (and “charge” better) on the outside.Straight out of the box this throw is S O F T! Don’t know if the seductive coziness will hold up in the wash (or various snack stains), but otherwise I like it! When I first tested the glow I was disappointed by how faint it was. Later I realized that my eyes hadn’t adjusted to the dark just after turning out the light. Wait a couple of minutes in the dark and it’s quite noticeable.I think the only way to make this better would be to offer a larger size for us big kids.

Not sure how this small light weight blanket is worth $30.73. It is very over priced I wouldn’t see paying more than $10 for this at the store and that is really pushing it. It does glow lightly but not enough to even capture it’s glow in a picture in the dark. It is okay but it is kind of on the small size. It was for my 7 year old daughter and it barely even covers her up. I’m debating to return because it is so small. My daughter likes it but I think it was truly a waste of money. And it has a strange almost chemical like smell. I would not recommend this for this due to the price and size. It was a big disappointment because of all the good reviews I thought I’d give it a chance. I don’t believe all the good reviews.

Our 3 year old loves stars and things that glow in the dark but can’t stand blankets. When we got this blanket, she immediately wrapped herself in it and said that it was very soft and she loved it! She not only agreed sleeping with it, but also covered herself with it at night:). To our surprise and amazement it was glowing the whole night, even early morning, as long as it was dark outside. We all love it: the softness, the glowing, the stars. Perfect for star lovers!

I am very disappointed that I cannot return this product. I am new to ordering on Amazon and didn't realize there is a short window to return. I ordered this about a month before my daughter's birthday. I was very excited to purchase it because she loves mermaids and I know she would be so excited that it glowed in the dark. When we laid it on her bed at bedtime we were very disappointed that little (not even half) of the blanket glowed in the dark. I paid almost $30 for this blanket. That is a hefty price for something that doesn't do what it is supposed to. I read reviews and choose this item because it had more than 4 stars. Goes to show, no matter how many good reviews somethings has, it doesn't mean you will get what you pay for.

Very cute blanket. Especially cute when the lights are turned off and all of the stars glow in the dark (of course that only lasts for a short time similar to other glow in the dark items). Even when the glowing stars begin to fade and darken, it is still a very nice and attractive blanket. Super soft and warm. Would make a great gift. I originally purchased it as a gift but ended up liking it so much that i kept it for myself.

My daughter loves mermaids and she loves loves loves this blanket! She's afraid of the dark so the glow in the dark feature is an added bonus. My daughter just loves cuddling with her blanket and showing it off to everyone.The softness and the thickness are exceptional and the way it comes packaged makes it easily giftable. I am very happy with this purchase.

My son has been into glow in the dark and galaxy. This blanket truely glows amazing. It looks soo cool kinda wish they had it in adult size. Hes 7 about 4ft and it covers him completly. Super soft .

Was not totally impressed when received... It is nice and soft, my 3 yr old daughter loves it. It glows pretty well but nothing like pictures suggested. Might glow better in the summer when there's more light to charge it. Overall I thought it was overpriced. It's not a big blanket, fits my daughters toddler crib mattress well, would fit a single I think. Was not impressed when received but I'm glad we got it. It is pretty cute and unique.

Beautiful blanket! Very well made and soft on both sides, which is great! To top it off the stars glow bright! It only takes about 10 minutes to charge under a regular light to get them shining bright! Very impressed! It will be a great addition to my Son's room

J'ai acheté cette couverture à mon garçon car il aime les planètes et les étoiles. La couverture est très douce et assez grande pour un garçon de 11 ans. De plus, les étoiles allument vraiment bien dans le noir!!!

Toddler bed for my 3 year old. I got it for her birthday with a mermaid sheet set. She likes it very much for her big girl bed. It's soft and plenty big enough for her bed. Cute colors and does glow in the dark.

Beautifully made. The plush material is so soft.It sure is neat!! The waves, and outline of everything (starfish, fish and mer maids) all glow in the dark so when the light is off you can see what each item is, very cool!! I purchased 2 for my niece's and they love them.
