Purchased to reduce amount of extension cords to decorate outdoors for Christmas season. Placed on shrub next to sidewalk. Used the 6 on 18 off timer. Also used other sets to decorate two street facing windows inside the home. Clearly visible. Battery life depends on freshness and light program set.

We wanted something non-electric for the 6 little pine trees in our front yard, that didn’t stay on all night, and I didn’t like the solar ones. These take 3 AA batteries and come 2 in a box. They have a 6 hour timer and 9 different flash settings. Just turn it on at the time you want. They aren’t as bright as the picture, but you can see them from the street and the lights are very pretty. We put these out after Thanksgiving and they’re still going. A point off because one of the lights doesn’t always turn off after 6 hours; usually when it rains hard.
