Love this cat food

Works good for him, but unfortunately the vet said "time for prescribed food" which is far more expensive

My cat loves this food. It’s nutritious and doesn’t seem to have any of the bad additives. Problem is when I try to order through Amazon they add a $13 charge no matter if you have Prime or not. They supply it through their Whole Foods market most of the time. Amazon should stock it and sell from their warehouse as Whole Foods is not near me. That’s why I give Four stars for a five star product.

We alter feedings between dry and wet food, and the Whole Paws Indoor Chicken and Pea recipe dry is a winner. Excellent, healthy ingredients combined with a taste all our cats like. An added benefit is the inclusion of DL-Methionine, may reduce the likelyhood of developing urinary struvite crystals. What else is there to say!? Please note: Since I mentioned DL-Methionine, if you have a (male) cat prone to struvite crystals, you'll want to feed primarily wet food, and also supplement additional DL-Methionine in that wet food to keep the urine pH somewhere between 6 to 6.5. If a urinary tract infection is noted, a high-dose course of D-Mannose works incredibly well. Internet search for specific dosages of both. We've been through this with one of our male cats, and after years of costly "prescription" food, we stumbled on this information. Also, that's not to say prescription food isn't sometimes absolutely required. And always, ALWAYS, make sure your male cat is super hydrated. You MUST keep the urine from becoming too concentrated... this is essential to help prevent blockage. Add plenty of water to their food, or manually feed water using a syringe. Remember, if your cats urinary tract IS blocked, you MUST get it to the vet. It is an absolute emergency situation. I hope this info helps someone else.

What can I say some pretty good cat food I mean I haven’t tried it and my cat can’t really say to me that he likes it but he does eat it so must be pretty good. I don’t know.

Healthy food for cats, which my cat likes. The major brands have fillers & chemicals that degrade feline kidneys.

Had a situation where I could not locate the high quality dry cat food I had been providing for years. I even made calls to locate in my area, no dice. After going through and checking out all the high quality rated dry cat food I picked what I thought to have the best ingredients for them. I was getting desperate. As soon as I put out Whole Paws both cats loved it. The nuggets are small and easy for the cats to eat. I now order Whole Paws and the other quality cat food is just a back up, second choice for the cats. I will stay with Whole Paws for my two cats, Chaos and Miss Trouble, my roommates.

These look great, and grain free are the best. Unfortunately my fussy cat would not eat these.
