The use of a WIFI portable heater suits those tech savvy people who want to enjoy the very best home comforts in whichever setting they will use the heater. The Mill Heat app allows you to control multiple heaters from the same app, therefore enabling you to set separate temperatures in separate rooms to suit different people’s needs. This oil heater delivers heat boosting technology that speeds up the hot air circulation process by rapidly sending the air through the unique closed structure and up into the room. Independent studies have found that this exclusive Mill technology can heat a room up to 29% faster than a conventional oil filled radiator. The whole range of Mill heaters are designed in Norway, and have utilised the very latest in modern Scandi designs to ensure that not only are they super practical, but are super stylish too. This is perfect for ensuring they blend in seamlessly to whichever room or setting you need your heater. The body of the heater is manufactured from steel, and has a glossy white finish, whilst the feet are manufactured from aluminium, making them extra tough and sturdy enough to keep your radiator upright. Don't pay for a wifi function that doesn't work.
I bought this heater for it's wifi capability. When it arrived, despite the heater working fine, I was unable to connect the device to my network. I contacted Mill Heater support where I received a Troubleshooting document. I then spent hours going through all the various options. Still no joy. Looking around on the internet it seems I am not alone in this.In summary, if you're buying this because it's a nice-looking heater, go ahead. If you're buying it because you plan to control it via your wifi network, you're better off looking elsewhere.A very expensive mistake.

App is a bit fidgety and the display is always lit up
It wasn't easy to connect to the WIFI, I had to log on to my router to change some settings, but eventually I got there. There's info on the web about how to do that. The app is a bit fidgity if you want to set up a heating schedule, it took a while to work out how to add in time blocks, but with a bit of perseverance I got there too.The most annoying thing for me, is that if the heater is on, the display light is on, which produces quite a glow at night in the bedroom. This is not great for light sleepers. I contacted Mill about it, and there is no way to turn off or dim the display. Quite an oversight considering this is a standard feature for any electronic display.Heating wise it works just fine. But then it's a heater, so it should.

Not money saving - always comes on at 5 degresss
I was really excited about getting this for my and my partners studio. I wanted to be able to warm it up before we headed in, in the morning. I was sold that it was a premium product and quality from the marketing however its a disappointment. Some of these reasons may not effect you personally so bear with me.(1) For me the biggest issue is without turning it off physically ( stopping its smart funcitonality ) there is no way to lower the minimum temperature from 5 degrees even when its set to away. My studio has no water and often is below this temp at night, meaning it comes on on wastes money in the middle of the night. I contacted mill and they say that this is to protect the electronics from condensation for a really expensive product especially one that likely to be used in cold places this should not be an issues.(2) The app is buggy on Android. I often have to close it to get it to respond or update the information so its current, i.e you open it and its show the temperature from yesterday(3) When the radiator is set to a program as part of a room it disables the physical adjustment of the temp on the unit, you c an only change the temp via the app which is a pain. You should be able to adjust the temp on the device even when in a scheduled program.(4) The app UI looks nice but the UX is really not that intuitive. The heater looks nice and is smart which is good but getting a non smart radiator and using a smart plug is a better option than getting one of these and far cheaper. I really hope they improve the app at least.
