GSI Outdoors 10 Inch Enamelware Plate for Camp, Cabin and Farmhouse Kitchen - Blue

Bought these blue plates to be used for our summer dinners, but now plan to use them year round. Wonderful plates - great quality & price. Very lightweight if you would like to carry to the beach or on a picnic. Thin enough to stow easily, yet sturdy enough to hold up to being used by children. Dishwasher proof, too! Highly recommend.

Love these. They are well made, and will be perfect for camping. These are replacing some smaller melamine plates that we have. We actually have been using these at home just to try them out, and they are great. I think if one wanted to use these as everyday dining dishes, that would work out very well. Obviously they cannot go in the microwave, but they're easy enough to hand wash, so it's worth it for everyday use. Cannot wait to use these on our first camping weekend this year!

I like to use this when camping and backpacking because it's rigid, and easy to clean. It's worth it to me to use this instead of eating out of a pot, or instant meal bag. Much easier to eat off your lap when you are in the woods. The coating makes it easy to clean, and these ones stand up to heat.

Reasons to state not top quality--enameling uneven with occasional lumps, lip on underside of rim is too sharp for careless handling (could cause cuts or abrasions). Didn't pay top quality price, so it's on me. Otherwise seems sturdy enough for camping use. I did see "pioneer" style dishes that look more refined/better finished edges. May try them next time.

The plates were as advertised. Durable, dishwasher safe and fun. They look great with red bandanas for napkins!

I ordered 5 of these plates. The shipping time was the only thing good about the order. 2 of the 5 plates had areas where the porcelain had flaked off of the parent material. One had an area on the rim just over 6 inches long where the porcelain was gone and metal showing. The area on the second plate was just over 2 inches long. Claiming it was damaged in shipping is false because when I noticed it and looked back in the box there were no pieces of porcelain in the box, AND the metal where the porcelain had flaked off was already oxidizing. This is just poor quality.

Great plates for camping! Strong and durable, good size and holds lots of food! Only thing is they get hot so you need to be careful about placing them on your lap with hot food. Nonetheless, they are a great addition to our camp kitchen!

Love these plates, they are lightweight and come in a perfect size (even for campout pizza). They have a bit of a nostalgic touch because of the glass enamel.

That they are enamel and we use them for camping.
