Gomadic Classic Straight USB Cable for The Samsung YP-Z5 with Power Hot Sync and Charge Capabilities - Uses TipExchange Technology

I bought this when I lost the cable that came with my YP-z5. The cable lets me charge the player's battery, but not sync with my computer to change the music. The player reports that it's connected in USB, followed by MTP mode, but my computer is unable to see the player properly. It's not a computer issue, nothing changed on my computer, and I tried with 2 different computers that both worked with the factory cable.Sometimes when I disconnect the player now, it thinks it's still connected and won't do anything until I hit the reset button. Every once in a while, if I keep unplugging/replugging it in, I can sometimes get a proper sync (assuming it doesn't freeze up first).Considering everything worked fine the week before, when I used the factory cable, I'm gonna blame it on the new cable. I'm a tech expert and know what I'm doing, the only conclusion I can come to is that the source of my new found troubles is this new cable.Save yourself the trouble and go find the factory cable. I'm buying one off of e-bay as I write this because I am fed up with the inability to sync. I give 2 stars because at least I can still charge my battery.

Works as advertised. Great.

My factory charger stopped working about five months after purchase due to stress on the cable near the USB plug. This Gomadic cable is perfect and high quality and the tip exchange is a great idea. The YP-Z5 tip fits exactly as it should and there is no difference in performance between this and the factory cable. Do not hesitate to purchase this.

Das Kabel erfüllt seinen Zweck.Es wird erkannt und die Ladefunktion bzw. der Datentransfer zwischen dem YP-Z5 Player und PC funktioniert.Es ist wie gesagt nicht gerade günstig, aber dafür stimmt die Verarbeitung.Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Produkt.PS: Bild Nr. 3 zeigt etwas anderes, ich habe zur Korrektur selbst ein paar Bilder vom Kabel hinzugefügt.

Ich hatte mein Originalkabel irgendwo verlegt - hab es bis jetzt auch noch nicht gefunden.Diese Kabel erfüllt alle Anforderungen, d.h. es gibt keinerlei Probleme.Auf der Playerseite ist vor dem Anschlussstecker noch eine Klinkensteckerverbindung. Deren Funktion erschliesst sich mir nicht.

Wurde schnell geliefert. Alles OK.
