Ticks most of the boxes and what I was after, but the height was the main factor I sent this back. I wanted a bin to go under the kitchen sink, but unfortunately it a bit too tall as I can only lift the lid up manually by hand just a little bit. Shame! It's such a lovely bin I thought I could use it in the toilet instead, but it's too big, really need a 5 litre in there instead. If I ever need this size bin in the future I will definitely purchase this again. It's so easy to keep clean, better than the barbarita bin I kept instead. The barbarita bin was a bit shorter, with a manual wide lift opening,*opening from the front, underneath my kitchen sink, whereas the Amazon one opened from the side, from right to left sitting underneath my kitchen sink. The other downside to the barbarita bin that I kept was that the lid does not stay opened unlike the Amazon one. So if you can fit this size bin anywhere, I really recommend it, it's a beautiful, well made bin and easy to keep clean.

Well better quality than expected, nice slim design with soft close lid and removable inner.It doesn't show marks or fingerprints, has no sharp edges and standard bin liners fit lovely.I bought a 'used, like new' and it's perfect.Highly recommended

I am very pleased with the bin. I prefer a pedal bin for reasons of hygiene as you don't have to make contact with your hands during food preparation. The pedal operation is easy with quiet opening and closing.The inner removable waste bin is strong and looks like strong, thick polythene with an easy-clean shape . I prefer to line the waste bin with a strong, large polythene waste bag, again for hygiene and easy disposal of waste and keeps the bin clean and easy to spray with anti-bac . Also, consider that 40L of waste maybe heavy for you!

Love it, just the right size for my small kitchen. Nice weight so does not tipple over. Has a very strong inside bin that you can take out to clean. Hides the bin bags you put into it, for rubbish. Nice and stylish. Lid lifts up with your feet on peddle, and shuts down slowly when you take your foot off the peddle, and you can also lift the lid up by hand and it stops up, for when you need to change & empty the bin, you then have to push the lid down yourself then
