So far this looks like a good product for my 2019 Nissan Leaf. The description shows a 3m strip you need to remove. I found that the adhesive is really in the crotch of the strip rather than on the two sides. At first I thought there wasn't any until I removed the small sample piece I tried. You’ll notice it has little bubbles when you put it on. Just press firmly towards the front of the car (assuming your putting it on the door).

I used it on the edge of my motorhome compartment doors, it went on easy and stayed on but I am not sure how good the glue will hold, I already have one door that the glue is not sticking.

I got this exact Same item (10 Years Ago) (Yes 10 YEARS AGO). That is how long ago I put it on my new Jeep and IT LOOKED GREAT. It was so EASY to INSTALL, no Mess, and no PROBLEM for 10 YEARS. I ordered again. This time- I ordered 2 rolls- BIGGEST MESS EVER, GLUE MELTING AND SMEARING EVERY WHERE, IT WAS GETTING ON EVERYONE'S HANDS and CLOTHS AS WE GOT IN AND OUT OF VEHICLE FOR WEEKS!!! YES it was getting on everyone and everything that touched the vehicle for WEEKS!!! I HAD TO REMOVE IT AND IT TOOK WEEKS TO REMOVE ALL THE GLUE AND IT COST A FORTUNE FOR ALL THE GOOP BE GONE AND CLEENERS TO GET THE GLUE OFF. I DON'T KNOW WHAT CHANGED IN 10 YEARS, DON'T BUY!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! DON"T BUY, the glue ran down the vehicle and never dried!!! I want a refund, but I did use it and had to throw it away, so I guess no refund, sad.

looks good, shiny, easy to apply, but that glue inside I had to soak it in water for a few days in order to remove most of it before I applied.

Purchased this door trim in "Gloss Black" to replace the chrome trim on my motorcycle helmet. At first wasnt sure if it was going to be too large in diameter, couldnt tell size in these photos. When I received it, it was def smaller than i expected (see my photos) i went ahead and swapped out my chrome trim anyways and although it looks alot better in black, it wasnt the easiest. I suggest slightly heating it to form around curves. It comes wound in a bundle and is a little on the stiff side so it wants to retain that shape. For use on vehicles id suggest using a larger diameter molding as this will barely sit over the edge of the door. Adhesion is so so, not the greatest but its holding (havent goen through heat to see if itll unstick) decent product overall.

This was easy to install and just the right amount. This was very good quality that will provide nice protection.

I bought this stuff to run along the door edge on my car. It's black and has some chips and this would hide those. It is smaller than some of the other door edge stuff I've used (back in the '90's) and it looks really nice installed. Unfortunately, it has a memory and wants to curly back up into the roll that it was shipped in. Get it in the sunlight, the adhesive melts and it pulls away from the door and curls. The adhesive is just to soft and gummy and doesn't work in the heat. I ended up pulling it off. I had to use mineral spirits to remove the adhesive residue. I really wanted it to work out but the adhesive just isn't up to the task, at least for use on a car door where the car sits in the sun. I wouldn't recommend it. Take a look at other products.

Very easy to install. Waited a while before doing the review to see how it would hold up and so far it has been great. It’s been a couple of months through some very cold weather, lots of snow and some rain and holding up quite good. Also installed on my fridge glass doors and adds a nice touch.
