I've been buying cheap knitting needles on Amazon when I don't have the right sizes, and so far it's going well. I like them, they work and they're not hard to use. Easy peasy.

Well made aluminum needles
Good aluminun knitting needles. A little bit shorter than I'd like, but they're at least lightweight and very smooth. Good for clingier yarns that have problems being released from the end of the needles.

Très pratique ces aiguilles courtes en métal et en taille 8mm. C'est rare d'en trouver, habituellement pour cette taille, elles sont en plastique ou en bambou. Concernant le diamètre des aiguilles, comme ce n'est pas une marque française, il suffit de bien vérifier sur le descriptif : cette taille 11 américaine correspond bien à un numéro 8 français, c'est aussi écrit sur les aiguilles, donc pas de souci.
