The fabric feels soft and elegant. The fit is perfect not too short or too long. It can be worn in several different ways. It's a little heavy but that's okay it will keep me warm. I ordered light smoke gray which is more off white which I was happy with the color it can be worn in winter and summer time. I also ordered slate gray it's a perfect shade of gray not too light or dark. I order size Large ( I'm 5 feet 5 inches, weight 175 usually wear size 12 or 14) and have plenty of room to wear a sweater if needed underneath. I hope fabric will not it will not start to "peel" and will wait on ordering other colors see how the fabric hold ups. Hopes this information helps.

The fibers seemed to bond irreversibly to the fabric, resisting all attempts to remove them.To prevent this issue, I recommend washing the poncho separately or with similar fabrics to avoid any unwanted shedding mishaps. This product is basically a big “wing-shaped” pushed off material. It didn’t me anywhere near the way it appears from the photos. It did have a nice color and weight to it. However I was not able to keep it around my shoulders, it kept slipping off. The value for money was a little high
