IQShield Screen Protector Compatible with OnePlus 7 Pro (2-Pack)(Case Friendly) LiquidSkin Anti-Bubble Clear TPU Film

I haven't reviewed anything in a while, but I had to come review this one. I just had my 5T repaired a few weeks ago, so I removed my tempered glass protector, and it was to be discarded. Once I got my phone back, I ordered my replacement. It was intended to be a tempered glass one, but either I didn't like the black borders around the screen protector as they LITERALLY interfered with the view on the screen, or the reviews were just not what I was hoping for. So, I took a chance and skipped on the tempered glass, bought this instead. I haven't had a non-tempered-glass protector in a long time so I figured I'd see how these have come along.Now, the installation is unusually involved, I have to say. But, the company has a YouTube video detailing the exact steps you need to take to apply it perfectly and without bubbles. Was I able to do it? Well, no. But my room is dusty as all holy hell and every screen protector I've ever owned has gotten a few bubbles under it, so I wouldn't fault them for this.All that being said, the instructions they gave were super helpful. Were I in a better spot (which, by the way, I've heard that a steamy bathroom after a shower is a great spot because it weighs down all the dust from the air), I think I could have applied this one without any bubbles, which would have been a first for me. And even then, I only got two annoying bubbles under it.Now for functionality. I'm not too keen on throwing my phone every which way, I try to avoid dropping it out of windows, and I'm bored of placing my phone in the street, so I don't know how well it would protect again cracking. Since it's just a membrane, I can't imagine that it would at all. But that's not what it's meant to do. It's meant to protect it from scratches. And so far, not a single scratch. I'm an electrician, so sometimes this beautiful phone would get stuffed into the same picked as pliers, screwdrivers, levels, pump pliers, wrenches, lots of stuff that should scratch up your phone. Not the slightest bit of damage has come to my screen.And not only that, but you would think that that level of protection would come at the cost of an uncomfortable feeling when swiping across the screen. But this thing has been a genuine pleasure. It feels great and it protects well.Now, again, I'm a tempered glass guy. For my last tempered glass protector, I paid less for a two-pack of them than I did for this. I was skeptical about the value, but I am now a believer. This screen protector is WORTH more than a pair of tempered glass screen protectors. If you're looking for a screen protector that'll take care of your screen, you've found it. So, this is my first time using a screen protector with a wet install. The instructions are clear and explain the process perfectly. The instructions tell you to spray the water/detergent solution on BOTH sides of the screen protector as you peel off the paper on the adhesive side. Make sure to follow that step, because squeegeeing the front side is far easier when it is wet.Also, it is imperative to spray the "sticky" side as well. It may seem odd at first, but spray a lot on there. You really want the protector to kind of float on your screen so you can adjust it before squeegeeing out the solution. Another note: give it about 15 minutes to cure. When the solution is first applied and the screen protector is drying, if you turn on your screen, it will appear multicolored - kind of like it's magnifying the pixels on your screen. I used the first screen protector (it comes with two), saw the rainbow pattern on my screen, and thought I messed something up or used too much or too little solution. I ended up peeling it off and starting over with the second one. Come to find out, I used too little solution (there were air bubbles in the dry spots) and the solution had not cured at all, which caused the weird rainbow pattern on my screen.I've had it on my phone for a few days now, and it's crystal clear. The fingerprint scanner works perfectly, and there are zero bubbles thanks to the wet application of the screen protector. 5/5 stars!

I originally put a tempered glass screen protector on my Oneplus 6T, one that had many high reviews on Amazon. The glass did protect well, but it was hit & miss in reading my thumb print to unlock it. It was a hassle. I decided to try the IQ Shield film protector. After an easy (and wet) install, and letting it cure 24 hours (WATCH THE VIDEO), I reset my thumb prints and after that my phone unlocks much quicker with my thumb. Yay! Now for the catch... I do a lot of intense gaming on my phone where I need a smooth surface. My old glass protector felt smoother to the touch and responded better for quick movements. The IQ Shield film has a rubbery, slightly stickier texture. It's ok for gaming, but not quite as smooth. You almost have to put some billiards hand chalk on your thumbs to get smooth movement. Another hassle. Overall 4 stars.In a perfect world, there will be a screen protector that's flexible & easy to install like IQ shield, but smooth like glass. Maybe like a flexible plastic or resin. Somebody invent it please. :)

Muy buen protector de pantalla, la instalación es un poco laboriosa pero nada difícil, solo hay que hacerlo con paciencia, recién instalada se apreciaban mucha pequeñas burbujas las cuales desaparecieron totalmente a las 48 horas, incluso antes, buena sensación al tacto, sin duda alguna volvería a comprar este producto

Installation was easy to follow. Looked a bit cloudy at first but cleared up pretty well.

Have had this on my phone about 2 years, still looks great, no peeling and the bubbles you see when applying disappear after a few days.

Easy to fit, make sure the screen is very clean first before fitting screen protector, nice product
