A very rich cream. If you have oily skin, you might not need this or be happy with it. This rich cream is for those whose skin does not produce oil. So for instance, very dry non-oily skin produces no sheen on the skin even by 3 PM. For this kind of dry, no-oil skin, the cream goes right in and absorbs nicely. Those with normal skin or over-active oily skin might find this too heavy, the cream will likely not penetrate your film of sebum and then therefore will feel greasy. If you want to penetrate into the skin, wash your oily skin with the hottest water you can stand along with real soap. Use alcohol-based toner, THEN apply the cream to a damp skin. If you want an oily feel, then follow this cream with a petrolatum-based cream, patted on carefully. petrolatum acts like the missing sebum. vegetable-based creams do not seal the skin like sebum does. The reviews here differ wildly because the skins of each customer are very different.

Best for thirsty skin! This product is hard to beat. I’ve been using it for years now, and I swear by it. I honestly think it’s comparable, if not actually better, than Le Mer. Works great as a night cream and also under makeup!

I’ve used this at night for 11 days now, & it has been the most wonderful addition to my skincare routine! I have used Tretinoin for 2 years & increased to 0.1% last summer - the dry winter air really made continued use challenging. My skin was itchy, dry & looked so dehydrated. I was using heavy creams but was scared to try anything oily because I typically have oily, acne-prone skin. I trust the Mario Badescu brand so gave this a shot - I’m so glad I went for it!! A pea-sized amount at night is all I need, & while it feels greasy at first I wake every morning to soft, calm, grease-free skin. I’m not sure how it’ll work in the summer, but this will definitely be something I continue to use every night all winter!

i bought this product because of an article I read about it. It does have a scent that's not bad, but not what I would call pleasant. it does do a fantastic job of night-time moisturizing. One thing to know is that it's very heavy and solid in the tub. You need to dig it out. After putting it on, it does feel nice but it's greasy and you need to rub it in well. it leaves a shiny, sweaty look to my skin but i only use it at night and don't care. In the morning, my skin feels well moisturized.

I absolutely love this night cream! After finishing a pot of another brand, I was on the search for a hydrating, vegan nighttime face cream and all the reviews pointed me to Mario Badescue. The scent is light, the cream is thick but goes on effortlessly, and my skin couldn't be happier. My husband does frequently ask why my skin is so shiny when I come to bed, as the cream doesn't soak in 100% but there are no complaints on this. I'm already on my second pot of this since quarantine started and I will never be switching to anything else. As a 31-year old, I am doing everything in my power to prevent wrinkles and dryness. I think this is helping.

Below is my review for the actual product by Mario.. I received it last time with the seal broken and just looked past it. This time the seal was not broken, but the product was about five times harder.. but when I went to check the batch number on the bottom, Amazon said that this brand doesn’t even have batch numbers like that.. I don’t know what the deal is. If it’s spoiled or not even real.. Buyer beware ——- . I got this on sale for Amazon prime day because I Cassandra Bankson recommended it and I love her videos. But it sat in my drawer for a few months before I really gave it a chance. When I wore it the first time, it felt like a mask; A little greasy. I have sensitive skin and I thought maybe it just wasn’t absorbing into my skin type and didn't wanna risk breaking out. Well, I decided to give it another chance, and after a couple of days started to, see my skin look better than it ever has! I’ve been getting compliments almost every day and honestly it looks and feels like I just got a facial. So grateful. I really don’t leave reviews like this and I’m really excited to try the other products from this company now. I sincerely look forward to putting this on every night now knowing what it does for my skin.

I love this night cream. It is very moisturizing and lasts all night with no greasy feel. Skins feels wonderfully renewed the next morning.

Love this product! It caught me by surprise but I will be buying again. When you first put it on it definitely feels a little oily, and I have some spots on my face that get oily pretty fast so that worried me. But when I woke up in the morning to my surprise my skin wasn't oily at all, it looked great!! I'd recommend this product

I use this overnight. Does it make me look younger? You decide. I'm 83! In all seriousness, it's not a creamy consistency and is a little greasy but hasn't caused me any issues. My skin feels soft and smooth (I'm 50 not 83)

This hasn't been great on me. I'm in my 50s and normally like a rich night cream for my dry skin, but have had continuous breakout since I began using it, even if I apply it very sparingly. Going to have to give up now as my skin just isn't adjusting.
