I bought this Bergamot oil fir my health in the first place . It is so super aromatic and delicious , especially if you use it in an "Early Grey's tea" . But be carefull ! do not mire drops as needed , because of its potency! This bottle will last you a very long time . It does not come with a dropper for better portion controll . Would I recommend this Bergamot oil ? Oh yes , I did already to my friends. ! I love it !

just one drop adds such flavor to my tea. I can use a cheaper tea bag but with one drop of the oil it elevates the tea to de-lish.

This oil is full of flavor and smells wonderful. I use it to make my own Earl Grey tea. Tip: to avoid the oil just spreading on the surface of my hot tea I set the black tea bag down, put 2 drops of oil on the tea bag and let it sit for a minute for the oil to absorb into the tea bag. Then I put it in my cup and pour hot water over it, and let it steep. This way the oil infuses the whole cup of tea and doesn't just float on top of it. The dropper is pretty fast, so dip the bottle slowly.

In this small half ounce size, no eye dropper, so drops come out without shaking. Just 1 drop gives my Earl Grey the boost I want ! I'm counting the number of drops per ounce, guessing about 100 to 150. Postscript - liked it so much, I got the 4 oz size ! Great product, lasts a loving time.

Great Food Grade Essential Oil

The scent of this oil is fine, distinctly Bergamot. However, the oil is a transparent brown. Not cloudy, so I am not implying that there is any quality or purity issues. The problem arises in that I bought this to use on a ceramic diffuser that does the job by having the oil poured on, then allowing it to naturally scent the air without being turned into a mist. This oil will discolor my diffuser, which is a problem for me. The other way I use this to scent my room is by pouring a small amount into a small glass jar that sits on my shelf, and I'm sure it will work fine in that. By the way, using the oil this way, I have seen no negative effects in my cat. It neither becomes droplets in the air nor does she get it on her fur or body, and I have not seen any change in my cat since using the oil this way, which I have been doing for at least a year.

Great Earl Grey tea taste. Buying this oil and driving 5 drops on to a normal teabag gives a much stronger taste than shop bought Earl Grey tea.

Absolutely brilliant fragrance and flavour! I first bought a small bottle of bergamot flavouring back around 2011 and loved it in tea, bakery and spice mixes for fruits. Reading the reviews for Viva Doria's Bergamot - the fact that it is food grade caught my attention because none of the other offerings on site mentioned food grade as that was primary for me. It's great in tea (makes a sort of an instant Earl Grey / Lady Grey tea and, as another reviewer mentioned, a little goes a long way. Really superb!

We got this just for that, Earl Grey tea is getting more and more expensive. Two splashes of this into a steeping cup with black tea will make it taste just like Earl Grey. This is food grade, if you do this, make sure you look at the label and aren't about to eat something that isn't food grade. Don't splash into tea that's already made thinking it's fine. It's better to put it in the cup with the tea bag then add water for steep time. If you add it after you will be hit with quite a surprise taste... it's not good. Let it sit.
